I own the 2015 Lexus rx350 awd. It is the only car that could make me not hate the New Jersey turnpike. Thank you Lexus for building a reasonably quick, quiet, comfortable shocks and beautiful interior car. Star fire pearl exterior and parchment interior. Life is good!

I have a 2015 in the same exterior color, but with beige interior. It really brings the beauty out of this car much better than the black. I really enjoy driving this car, as well as riding as a passenger. It's not fun to drive. It's enjoyable. The driver's seat, its position, and visibility are what make this car a joy to operate around town and on the highways. Ergonomically, everything is where I can reach. The dash has its own look, which I appreciate. The ride is pillowy, but steady. And the engine has plenty of power and refinement. All this and bullet-proof reliability...what more can I ask for? It's an adult's car that says, "I'm comfortable in life and not trying to be someone I'm not."

And did he mention that you can add your photos to the screen? I have a photo of my family and grandkids that pops up each time I start or shut down the car/screen. It has to be loaded from the USB connector using a USB chip and then it will be there each time you start the car or screen. Friends freak out when they see it on the display. It is in the manual.

Just trolling through your reviews, I love your channel and you've got a new fan. My wife and I have an 03 rx330 awd and its pushing 200k miles. My wife is a big lexus fan and we bought it used for a really good price, I cant get over how smooth it is and I just love driving on our road trips with it because of exactly what you said. It blocks everything out and makes you feel comfortable. We will be buying the newer gen soon because we like it so much. I've even taken it out from northern AZ at 7k elevation all the way down to phoenix at 1k all offroad and it was a breeze.

Classic 8.41 Scott shows off the neglected RX330 engine - my friend has one at over 300,000 kms and original engine , transmission, the original timing chain, the quality is rock solid man. Rx 350 shares the engine with highlander v6 and camry v6 and venza V6. We bought a used 2008- model year highlander V-6 at 40,000 km and during the 11 years we drove close to 285,000 kms,.......... and still no complaints. just regular oil changes every 10,000 kms , and these engines last long ..........,

It took a lot of time for me to understand that when The One That Got Away, got away - she was much wiser than me, much earlier on. Seeing Mark and Scott in this old review, reminds me of that breakup - painful, but necessary. "The One" found a better fit and I'm happy for her - I hope Scott did too.

Some of these comments are quite funny. Now here is the Lexus RX, the BEST selling SUV in the US since launch and I can see nothing but trolls and German car fanboys saying how "ugly and old" it looks. For a start, this model came out in 2009 so yes, it looks older because it is old. The 2016 RX is going to blow pretty much every SUV out of the water!

Hands down the lowest maintenance, most reliable, and most refined SUV in this class. My daughters 2012 has 64K, second set of tires, one set of pads on front axle, an air filter, and oil changes every 5K and that's it! Change the oil for her myself. My cost about $40.00 for a full synthetic oil change that is $150.00 plus tax at the dealer.

The RX is the best at what it does. Not really much can match it. Great car for sure. simple reliably luxury. I think it looks actually good BUT i will say you got the most boring combination for the video.. get it in that shiny red with the 18 inch optional wheels look really good.

The car is mfgd in Cambridge Ontario not Japan. The only lexus plant outside of Japan in the world. I've been in the new RX350 2016. Very sporty interior. This model not so much but king for quiet and comfort if thats your thing.

Great vid man, especially the bit about interior lighting. It's often overlooked, and I love that you mentioned it. Quick question, what mount are you using for your in-car DSLR shots?

Thank's going to be spending more detail on the little things like that. For mounts I use three. For lighter cams I use Ram mounts, single suction. For lighter camcorders, I use Fat Gecko dual suction mounts, this will even work for micro 4/3rds DSLRs. But if you use expensive lens or full frame or format DSLRs I switched to Fat Gecko 3 suction mounts with arm extension. I have never had an issue in several years of use. Best bang for the dollar. For external mounting I always use 3 suction for any DSLR. Or a clamp based Bogen/Manfroto arm, and very soon likely a tether to the DSLR as fail safe.

Bought a 2015 RX350 pre owned, third owner I come to find out, it had about 40,000 miles on the odometer. While the vehicle is a nice ride I find the infotainment part sucks, well the radio is okay the navigation lacks big time. My $250 Android phone is light years ahead. I could totally live without that screen. The "pointing device" leaves a lot to be desired and takes some getting used to, but I want to drive the thing not play with that "mouse". The fuel mileage is very poor, but perhaps for an all wheel drive it is average? I came from driving a Ford 4.0l ranger and a Honda Fit Sport, I'll never forgive myself for getting rid of that 2008 Fit, it was a very fun car to drive (5 speed) and reliable as... well as a Honda

How did you guys conclude it's made in Japan? Did you guys actually check the VIN of the tested vehicle and see it start with 'J'?

you didn't mention these Gen 3 RX's are known to have expensive timing chain and transmission issues, etc.,... as revealed by a quick scan on the clublexus forums. So-called toyota/lexus reliability is often just a public perception and not based in reality. These youtube reviewers are all the same, they tell you nothing about long-term reliability.
