I can't afford either car but base on the reviews why would anyone spend the same amount of money (depending on specs) to buy the CTS-V over the M5?
@JK-wi5en8 жыл бұрын
+abcdLeeXY The M5 optioned out like this car is would cost around another $10-20k. Not to mention, the CTS-V is more powerful. Also, as stated, paying for repairs is going to be much more expensive for an M5. It all just depends on what you look for in a car. If you're looking for the badge/brand prestige and luxury more than performance, you go with an M5. If you're looking for a decently comfortable performance based car, you go with the CTS-V.

They still aren't that much, unless OP is including tax/dealer fees. The online build/price for me came out to $108,000 + tax. Here in Ontario it'd be ~ $122k with tax(13%), so I'm sure with extended warranty and dealer fees it'd crowd 130k but certainly not 140.

The, "metal" on those paddle shifters is, "magnesium". Worth mentioning ... ... And thanks for being honest about the CUE (Cadillac User Experience). The vehemence with which Automotive Journalism goes after CUE is completely played-out and unnecessary. Cliché & pathetic, really! I was surprised, however, to have you describe that rear seat as "spacious". But enough with all that NERD stuff; Your elation under acceleration! GREAT VID. -Jerry W.
