If Savage keeps this up he'll have his 1m subscribers. But it is clearly a ton of work to produce these videos. Any success that may come he deserves it cause it is clear he works for it
@simongchadwick6 жыл бұрын
"Don't see how this channel doesn't have 1mil subscribers" I've wondered this too, and think the main reason is that not enough people care about the actual vehicles being reviewed. The production quality of these videos is outstanding, perhaps the best on KZbin, but given that they are pure reviews, and not episode "stories" (Doug Demuro, Vehicle Virgins, Shmee, Hoovies Garage, etc.), viewers must *care* about enough of the cars first, before wanting to subscribe. A secondary factor is the length of the SavageGeese videos, which probably puts off the short attention span set, many of whom just don't care about the underside/suspension details and other minutia.

This statement probably seems redundant now as it seems like most will agree with me here, but your channel has evolved to be the absolute benchmark in overall content quality for me. The production quality and general organization of the video are just top notch. For me, it never goes unappreciated. Also, you really tell it how it is regarding small things that we all care about but no one talks about; like cupholders, how the knobs feel, and most importantly for me, the undercarriage of the car. Thank you for the incredible content Mr. Geese!

savagegeese I know quite a few car channels. Most are like cheap commercials for the manufakturers and I don't wonder why these "indie vloggers" get pampered by the industrie. I don't need someone to explain the design or other BS. Your Channel is, by far, the most interesting, knowledgeable and high quality car Channel I know. And you have only 1 commerc. break in this vid, no affiliate links and no patreon notification. Hope your channel grows and your hard work pays out some time. And I hope to hear from Scott in your next vids. BR

Especially since sedans are going for the "coupe-like" profile which should make it easier to add a fast-back-like hatch. The stinger is a good example of this. I'm just not into SUVs, CUVs, and crossovers.

This is the only KZbin channel that I watch on a regular basis. I really like his review of the under body when the car is lifted and review of the front/back side/side weight distribution. I also like his candidness on his opinion. A lot of these reviewers are just trying to sell a car to not offend their sponsors.

Echo previous comments - this guy is unique, one of a kind. Quite astonishing the the level of technical detail he goes into and you have to remind yourself that this is NOT his day job! Videography blows every other right out of the water and is genuinely at a professional level. His humour is bone dry and all the better for it. The interaction with Turbowski is priceless and genuinely funny. Check out his vlogs which are a great counterpoint to his automotive reviews. I doff my hat to you sir. Long may you reign.

There have been multiple comments on the production quality and I totally agree, it is VERY clear a lot of time and research has been put into this video. You are doing the best car films (KZbin video doesn’t do it justice!) right now. The amount of effort that must go into these is amazing. The bit I like best is the depth and detail, especially the underbody and chassis analysis - you just don’t get that level anywhere else. And also the reality check on what owning some of these machines might mean in the long-term if things break. I do miss it when turbowski isn’t there though!

My dad owns one, a 630xd M-Sport Sophisto Grey to be exact. It has the adaptive air suspension, 4 wheel steering and it gets 7l/100km (that's 33 mpg US). The driving assit on this car is also a must these days, a completely safer ride. Driving in this thing is easily on par with the 7 series and has more room inside than the normal wheelbase version. Also FWIW in Sophisto Grey with 20'' wheels it actually looks pretty badass in an unconventional way.
