had a 14 Premium, it was a comfort car, and the engine as u said was sufficient,, as this was never designed to be a sports car...now have a 16 CT6 wish is an improvement.......

I bought a used '17 Luxury (28k mi) during 3/18, a former rental, and it is the coolest old fartmobile around - best car I ever had. It's a pleasure to drive, and I am looking forward to my cross country trim in '19 when I move from Seattle to Florida to retire. I don't see a whole lot of them on the road; I understand the GM will be discontinuing the Cadillac sedans, which is a shame. They are what made the brand great.

It really is a bummer. I feel like the engineers put a lot of effort into making a comfortable, smooth, stylish sedan, just like the old days. For some reason it just didn't take off... I guess people really like elevated seating positions in the SUV's. Perfect car for a long trip though! You chose well.

@@takeiteasy_tv They're still making money off the sedans, just not enough. We all pay for corporate greed one way or another. I've rented a Lincoln town car, which is not being discontinued, but found it spartan and uncomfortable; nothing more than a Crown Vic with leather upholstery. I'm hoping they'll bring back the Cadillac sedans, but at least I finally got one and it will probably be the last car I own (I'm 60)

This interior was one of the best for it's generation. It still looks modern/aged well 10 years later (since it first came out in 2012)

The XTS is a great looking car I almost bought it but then I seen the ct6 so I'm rolling you have an awesome car I will probably soon do a review on mind you did a great job

The wood is real as well as the metals that you see. Too much lacquer on the wood makes a lot of people think it's fake.

Its a beautiful car that can sell more. But GM has not done the greatest job at marketing it. Maybe too busy with the Silverado, CT6 and Camaro launches.

I have a question regarding the sideview mirrors for this particular year / model. Is there a feature that automatically folds / unfolds them when entering and exiting the vehicle..?

Hey man, glad you liked it! Good choice on the V-Sport, those are beautiful. This is still one of the best luxury values out there IMO, and would still recommend. Rear leg room is great, I am also 6'-1" and had plenty of space :)

*Cadillac should have made their basic safety system the Driver Awareness Package STANDARD on any XTS. To charge this much for a luxury vehicle and then ask me for another $1600 for safety features standard on a Genesis is outrageous. All that leather and wood won't help you like those safety features can, and it says a lot about how Cadillac feels towards their customers to charge them for features that may save their lives yet are standard on other cars. No thanks.* 🖕😠👎
