Could you put this on your air conditioner condenser unit? I don't think installers typically send a neutral wire outside to your condenser unit (it's just the two hot wires and a ground wire at my house); so could you attach the white wire from ICM 517 to the ground wire coming from the breaker panel?

What size knock-out hole does that plastic stem on the ICM device fit into? Is that for a 3/4 inch hole?

Why does your video title say ICM 517 and the one you install is an ICM 518? Oh, I just googled it. ICM 517 is for single phase devices! You might want to update your video title!

Sorry about the typo. I have changed it. The 517 can be used for 240 volt disconnects without a neutral. The white wire is not shown in the diagram, so it is cut off. You can use a 3/4" knockout. GFM
