Great video! What Porsche cup wing you referring to? I have been looking everywhere for an alternative to the Techart wing for Carrera but apparently there are issues with vented access to the engine fans

I think he means the Porsche factory aero kit. You can get it at Suncoast for 5500.

Did you remove the rear wing motor...or just unplug the wiring harness? I've installed a fixed rear spoiler on a 997 and it would throw a error code every time I hit 75mph.

Motor is still installed and plugged in. We programmed it with a Porsche tuner to cup fixed wing and I unplugged the fuse just to be sure. No codes

I spoke with some service shops who suggested not buying a GT3 Touring and instead buying a normal winged GT3 as its easier to swap the wing, and "doesn't require any messing with electronics". I'm curious how problematic it is to disable the wing in the ECU, and pull a fuse, with out the aid of a service shop...?

What actually holds the 3rd brake light in place? Mine popped out today and I'm not exactly sure how to get it to stay back in place.

As I recall the light just snaps in on some clips. Mine was so tight I cracked it installing it, scared to remove it now.

Mine doesn’t seem to be held in very well anymore. Maybe the clips broke? But I don’t want to glue it back in because you have to be able to remove it when you service the engine

I had a similar issue but used double sided gorilla tape and it holds perfectly. 5:43
