Couple things. 1) I really appreciate the detailed way in which you always inform and describe your process or the tool you are reviewing. 2) it’s absolutely none of my business and I’m not jealous, but I didn’t know how you afford all these purchases-haha. Obviously you are able to use them but from the perspective of ‘are you purchasing these to be able to give reviews, etc. for your channel’ - I do hope it pays off for you in subscribers or sponsors (if you are looking for that). 3) I’ve long wanted these but with my older Delta Unisaw fence system, I’m continually stymied by its design in trying to use guides like these or even basic jigs that would fit nicely over a squared up fence like you have and many other style saws. I don’t know if you are familiar with the fence style I have but I’d welcome any of your viewers tips on how I might overcome this problem. Worth a shot. Anyway, I enjoy and appreciate your efforts in your videos. You put a lot into them!

Thanks Eric - Well to answer your first question, my day job is what is currently funding my purchases! I have yet to receive any money from sponsorships, etc. A lot of these items I have accumulated over the years. A lot of my upgrades were purchased during the pandemic when I didn't have much else to do! I am not familiar with the delta fence, however if it has a flat top of about two inches I would think that this stock guide would work. I would welcome other comments if anyone else has any experience with the delta saw! Thanks so much for watching!

Did you change (extend) the positions of the arms (screws) to hit table at 30 degrees? It is needed for proper function or it will toad belly at 85 degrees like in this video.

I'm not aware of that. I'll have to look at the stock guide to see what you are talking about. Thanks so much for sharing!

My only concern is how would one quickly use their Jessem stock guides on their router table fence with this setup? Apparently the saw guides are useful for the router table fence also. I’m thinking threaded inserts for that 3/4 ply for the front magswitch attachment would allow a couple of turns to slide those guides out quicker (more rapid removal of magswitch from entrapped t-track). 8-32 insert there may do the trick. Also hopefully you figured that 30 degree thing out with the increased height. 30 degrees or greater per the Jessem spec.

Thanks so much for sharing takeniteasyfriend. Interesting, I have not seen someone use this saw guide for the router table. I do know they make a separate product all together for the router table as well. I suppose you could modify this saw guide for the router table, and it sounds like you may have come up with an idea which is great. I've come to find I like to keep the stock guide on my saw off the fence as much as I can, as i've had it get in the way quite a bit, so it's nice to have the detachability of it!

I can see how these could improve the accuracy of cuts, but having to push stuff through by hand that close to the blade without a push stick...nope, nope, nope. I don't have a sawstop and even if I did...nope, nope, nope. I could see if you were doing really wide panels. But for thinner cuts a featherboard and a pushstick would be just as accurate, without having to do sketchy cuts.

$254.99 for the stock guide. $113.14 for a pack of two mag switches. One would have to be a day trader, or a bank robber to install these add-ons. Woo wee... And it looks pretty awkward to push the work through the blade.

Haha! I told you I'd keep quiet if you wanted to rob a bank! haha! I can honestly say, I haven't had a chance to really dig into the JessEm Stock guide since i got it since I've been making so many videos. I'm really looking forward to trying it out on a project. I'm going to be moving to some project builds in the near future (hopefully!) Those magnets are so ridiculously priced in my opinion I took two of the magnets from my magswitch featherboard and now I don't have any magnets for it, unless I remove the magnets from the JessEm jig.

Good video, except for the dumb inserts you added! Takes away from the content.
