Sad for our loss, but excited to see how well the Los Pumas are playing. I was getting so frustrated at our high ball kicks. We kept giving possession away with that tactic. I'm not foing to mention you-know-who. I'm not going to complain about a ref call. I'm not going to blame the conditions. Last night, Argentina produced an incredible game of rugby. They played with heart, guts and absolute beauty. They are, by my count, only the second or third team that has beaten all three of Australia, New Zealand and South Africa in a single calender year and they did this by coming back after huge deficits. This is a special team and seeing what last night's win meant to them makes it impossible to begrudge them their celebrations. Saludos, Los Pumas. You deserve it.

Stick him in at the end... if the game goes well Mannie could have had fun in the last 20 trying to push the score and if the game is going bad well he might have some chances to slot some tough kicks... We know what Polly can do.

Rassie not knowing the names of the Argentinian players at the press conference beforehand, first mistake. Going for the 3-pointer when the Argies were on the ropes at 14-0, was the second major mistake. Not competing on Arg lineouts in the first half - the third. Reinach chucking the ball away after his try, thus giving Pollard almost no time to kick the conversion - just brainless. Libbok overcooking the kick to the corner - major mistake. Add to all that - a 70% tackle rate with 0 dominant tackles. Just bad planning from the get-go. Manie missing a straightforward kick was the least of our problems.

what is frustrating isn't that we will win at Mbombela it's how easy it will look when we do. So Mannies miss, Reinachs kicking, Marx's lineouts and Kurtleys tackles will be fixed by then. Our defense was terrible we are lucky to even come close to beating ARG by the way they played.

As a South African all I can say is that Argentina is Rugby's great success story in terms of a weak team just 20 yaars ago developing into a fully tier 1 nation in the sport that can....and does.....beat anyone now. Anyone who underestimates Argentina by this point does so at their own risk. Argentina played a hell of a game. The Boks better be on top form for the next game. I just wish Libbok's kicking was as good as his overall on field play.

Yirrrrra boet, it's taken me 3 days to recover enough to comment, I was gutted...still am. I know the Bokke are giving younger players game time and developing new tactics/game plans with a long term view but that doesn't make the loss any less painful in the short term. The only consolation I have is my respect for Argentina, they were the underdogs but they're a great team and they play with heart. They played a great game and they were better on the day Yeah I was sad to lose but here's no shame in losing to a team like that.

It's usually the teams that are struggling will make large numbers of changes but Rassie seems to like the SpaceX approach where a failed mission every now and then is acceptable and maybe even expected because the data and insights it yields will eventually win the war.

Actually our defence agianst the ABs in CT was already worrying...yes they didn't score a try agianst us there but we missed a lot of first time tackles and only our scramble defence kept them try less
