Love this one too - switchers and branchlines are my favourites- American Style . I find at age 68 , Uk stuff is all too "familiar ". Wales UK.

"I'm a lighting nut" LOL, now I feel vindicated as I am too thanks to the bright headlight of my N-scale Alco RS-2 running on my layout in my darkened bedroom as a 10 year old kid. How I LOVED how that RS-2 (and a steam locomotive also with a bright headlight) lit up the way in the dark, and that's stuck with me ever since.

Hi James, I have 8 Atlas Silver series Locos. They are advertised DC/DCC. What di I do to make them DC. This I only want to do to a few of them . I have DCC runn along side DC because I have so many DC Loco's . Thank,
@hohobbyist10985 жыл бұрын
If it is marketed as a DCC/DC locomotive, it should operate on DC without any trouble or modification. I have limited experience with dual mode decoders, but if you want to see one in action for performancd purposes I reviewed a Bachmann Alco 2-6-0 and tested the DC mode over on my channel.

i have been wanting roadswitchers for my pennslyvania railroad branchline

A little late to the show but will I get the same great low speed performance in DC mode? I have a shelf railroad and only need one engine so I don't need DCC.

I have a few SILVERS and the Marker lights work. They even change color when you reverse direction. I failed to see these in operation. With GOLD I would expect that effect. ?? Ted

Really nice model. Does anyone know if the prime mover sound will be the same for the coming H24-66 Trainmasters?

Idk why esu took out the crew dialog, made it so much more realistic

i have one of these in AT&SF #3014 but mine is a bit old. for some odd reason i think mine has been labeled wrong, because the "F" has been put on the towards the cab instead of the other way around
@trainmantim998 жыл бұрын
That's prototypical for the Santa Fe. The cab was consider the front of the engine.

To add to what TDF LINES said, a few railroads specified that the long hood was front end, Southern and N&W (and NS) did--but most railroads specified the short hood as the front.

is that a baby trainmaster?
@johnadam31897 жыл бұрын
Atlas has a manual not a half way quick start guide with the incorrect information that Bachmann uses to show off their quality and attention to detail. Always say if the simple things like that cannot be done properly. How can ,or are they able to do the more complicated things involved in making model trains correctly??? A good sign of stepping up their game right!
