@@mikesabey7663color match yes.. c-log 2 is c-log 2… but the different lenses can give some small color differences and the C70 is 9 mp and people normally use speedboosters and EF not sharp at all.. the C80 is sharp and the sensor is 26MP and native RF full frame with sharper lenses..

Awesome video - looove the setting of the pizza shop during the day - Absolute perfection of a Dynamic Range & Colour testing - should use the location for all camera tests! :D Excellent stuff & really quite impressive DR in the shots at 4:55 , really nice shooting + giving a sense of real world use + limits.... Now I just need a pepperoni pizza as well as a C80!!

Great andy very usfeul video. One question: As I see, you are using Atomos Ninja V. Do you use it as monitor or recorder? If as a recorder. so - why? Thanks

*I really liked the grade and exposure and contrast of your footage you shot at the Pizza Restaurant, but your footage in the park looks like total Caca !!! 💩 Seriously, I would take down this post and regrade it, then put it back up again. Were you using another camera system to shoot in the Park, or was it all sourced from the C80 ? The C80 6K footage looks really, really good.*

Thanks for the feedback! I appreciate your thoughts on the footage. The contrast in styles can sometimes be due to lighting conditions or settings used during the shoot. The park footage was indeed captured with the same C80 system. I’ll definitely consider regrading it to better match the quality of the restaurant shots.

Yes, the Canon C80 features face detection autofocus, which allows it to prioritize faces in the frame.

@@aphelionmedia 4K is cropped, no open gate, no 4:3,6:5 no dgo sensor.. c70 has dgo but not great focusing, no s&f mode, r5c has but needs external power, but no clog2 like literally if you need all these above one must buy c500 II but that to don’t have the dgo architecture that dgo is a absolute beast of a sensor
