You'll certainly find learning with this book a lot easier than going through the old ones. So from that perspective yes its very good. I had hopes for an actual refresh rather than a tidy up which doesnt make it a bad thing. Welcome to a great game by the way, which fleet are you looking to play?

@@GettingTabled Probably going to start with the older Scourge/UCM kit. But my interest is pretty sharp on Resistance, with UCM & PHR tied for 2nd place. (I also have a *ton* of ships from various manufacturers that I want to write up, but those are a project further down the line.)

Picked up a 2 player set, going to try and get people in Alaska interested in it. Getting people away from GW is so hard though.

It was well received when the kickstarter was shipping. However after the sale to TT Combat, fulfilment of the Kickstarter and changes to distribution the availability and in turn the interest of the game took a hard hit.

I don't see the need for Kickstarter no, there wasn't one for Zone second edition. But I sadly don't see Fleet happening till next year minimum their Drop rules focus is definitely on DropSquad (StrikeTeam) Commander right now.

The reason they dont do that is because they get out of date the moment a balance update happens so all of that stuff now goes to dropfleetcommander.com

One rule book to rule them all :) I love Dropfleet It is a great game. I am fairly new to it. I am not a big fan of the new cruisers as I really like the old plastic ones better. My brother and I went half on the new starter box. Prior to that I had played DZC.
