Nice vid. I literally got my engine cover set in today. Installing tomorrow. My first lowside was 35mph turn in 50deg weather 3 minutes from turning the bike on. SuperCorsa's slipped as they were cold and clutch cover was cracked and eaten through. I know these will add a certain level of protection to help prevent it next time hopefully.

You will be very happy with them, definitely recommend. (On a side note, I switched from supercorsas to Dunlop Q3s, maybe not as grippy when you're really pushing it, but the warm up time is insanely fast)

Yeah i switched from the SC to the Rosso III's. more street friendly and only costed me $50 more for the order and install compared to Q3's. i said why not lol, new tire technology can be a good thing as they barely came out and so far i love them. Taking them to the track next month so i'll see how they feel there.

Track day tires are no go for cold weather/street usage at least when you are to pushy. But I love SC. They are best combo on my bike among other manufacturers. And yes I wait a little on warmer days for street usage ;) Btw ... searching for best engine cover/slider too.

Nice vid, any suggestions on R&G engine covers versus these ones? The GBRacing covers seem to be for sliding only..

+RacerInTraining sorry mate, I'd rather not comment on a product I haven't personally used. Although if I didn't buy the GBRacing covers I would have bought the R&G ones. It's important to remember that covers and sliders in general are a security buffer, not a 100% guarantee.

I assume these would cause the engine to run hotter than normal? Not sure though. Not a mechanic here

No its not aircooled anyhow its the cylinder head and cylinders that need to lose the heat via water jacket and radiator maybe airflow is required around sump if it has cooling fins. Anything with cooling fins needs, airflow. These covers are used on bandits in the race series bandit cup with no issues and they get very hot during a race.

I agree, but over $250 for a few plastic bolt on covers is such a rip-off for about $15 worth of materials. I wonder if the knockoff ones would fair as well in this type of accident. They look identical, even the backsides but are at a much more reasonable cost...sometimes as low as $80 for a complete set.
