That's ingenious.

i find a little disc shaped neo magnet under the antirevseral latch under the gearbox does a very good job. It also holds the trigger spring in place and can work with any gearbox, not just v2s

I know my #1 annoyance with gearboxes is the fucking ARL!

My tip: When i reassemble my gears, i use an big magnet under my gearbox. all gears stay in place. That's work very well. Test that trick on the next time..

I've used that before but my problem is that it offsets the gearbox shell high and makes it harder to assemble other components.

I never have issues with arl, but we need a v3 ak trigger aid lol

There is a video on youtube showing how to put the trigger in really easily. I had tried for hours on an AUG and AK before I saw the video. You just put the actual trigger part into the hole in the gearbox and into the funny shaped bit. Then close the gearbox as normal and leave the grey bit outside. Then pry open the gearbox a little bit by the trigger and squeeze the grey bit in. Ive done it 2 or 3 times since and it will work first or second attempt. I find V2 triggers worse.

Trying to install my shims and I noticed its incredibly hard shimming on ball bearings...? Anyways... My sector gear keeps hitting against the "pin" that connects the two shell halves together and just stops OR the cut off lever...? Don't know which as it only happens when both halves are on...? Is that the point of the cutoff lever (to completely stop the sector gear from spinning at the same point every time) or do i need to shave the gear or "pin" down any? (The Pin is part of the lower half of the gearbox and makes it so the two halves can't come too close together)...? Thanks!

it shouldnt be hitting the pin... take the cutoff lever out and see if it still happens.

So I got the picossr2 MOSFET and just want to know how to install the thing...? The directions are crap and I can't find a tutorial anywhere. Gate has provided directions on what to solder, but not where to solder the trigger contacts to. Could you please tell me what to solder on the thing? It's driving me nuts! Thanks!

watch my video on soldering mosfets. basically both motor wires to the bottom contact and then gate wire to the top one.
@lmJustGood10 жыл бұрын
valleyriverarms Ahh.... but it is different. My VFC Hk 416 doesn't have the contact plates like your aeg in the video. Where the trigger contacts are is where BOTH wires (to the battery and to the motor) are... PLUS its a NON- AB mosfet, which means I have to wire it so the circuit is ONLY made through the mosfet and not another path like active breaking mosfets...While going through the mosfet and I can't seem to find a way to do this. Please, if you could, help me :D (mosfet has 3 soldering plates from -motor, - battery, and trigger. Where do I solder and what do I solder to what? -- The mosfet came with two wires) Thanks!

How much does your work cost to get a gun up to 25 rps
@valleyriverarms10 жыл бұрын
Depends on the gun. Only really want to work on M4's at this point and minimum labor charge to work on a gun is 150 plus parts.

Still around the same price for labor. At the very least 100 for labor.

Put grease at the back of the ARL, or use a magnet. Problem solved.
@valleyriverarms10 жыл бұрын
grease doesnt always hold the ARL and magnets sometimes stack the gb shell weird. This is just another solution to the problem.
@GriFF-10 жыл бұрын
I take it, it wasn't made with Ver3's in mind.
@valleyriverarms10 жыл бұрын
i dont think so. But I think it should still work in v3's.
@whatfor510 жыл бұрын
It works just fine on V3s.... and V6s, and probably most other GBs. As long as your ARL is vaguely near the edge of the box (so the clip can reach) it'll work fine.
@GriFF-10 жыл бұрын
Whatfor5 I meant in regards to ver3's not having the cutout in the GB shell near the ARL that ver2's have
@whatfor510 жыл бұрын
GriFF Only some V2s have that, and it isn't necessary for the ARL Clip to function. The testing was actually carried out on GBs which didn't, it was just serendipity this GB did.... and doesn't really change anything although I can see why/how you'd think it would.

I know I put that damn thing in wrong. >:( You can hear when the gun shoots, i'm just too lazy to open my gun again :/
