I agree, being able to have control over sound + video + lights is pretty exciting for the future of our craft. I just hope software companies wont come up with a way to make us bartenders too with a cocktail app of some sort, because that's gonna be too much work :D

The one thing they missed is the ability to utilize zap shot photos within serato video or mixemergency As a mobile Dj that is the one feature we need. Btw awesome video

Spout is the only real alternative but Serato won't support FFGL or "Free Frame Graphics Library". So basically Serato Video or Virtual DJ for Windows users

Biggest downfall for me is that there's no Ethernet port on either one of my MacBookPros.

You can create a network over Thunderbolt too, look for Radikarl on Facebook. He has a tutorial on using the NDI link in exactly that way.

What's the max resolution output when sharing through NDI? Hopefully it can at least do 720p 👍🏽

Currently the maximum is set to 1080p - so it will do 720p just fine. Custom output dimensions are planned for a future version for those who need it.

It still serves me very well for audio with all the software I use. But it is overdue for an update. Just waiting on Apple to finally refresh the MBP now.
