Can you network both computers to use mix emergency for streaming? A friend of mine gave me a copy of the video software and it’s on my 2013 iMac and I want to use it with my 2010 17 inch MacBook Pro, how can I do that?

After seeing your last video regarding thunderbolt 3, I figured this was possible. Maybe a dumb question but this would obviously work with 2 Separate setups both running serato DJ pro/mix emergency and connected via the thunderbolt 3? Would test myself but thunderbolt 3 cable (6.6ft) not coming til tomorrow
