Regarding the Laura Ashley dress - Bianca (the closet historian) often says ‘80s does 50s’ because it was a very clear full circle in terms of what was fashionable. I really like the Brandi Joan dress and really deep elasticated waistband of the cargo pants, will have to wait till the pdf patterns are released and there’s a sale though which could be a while or try and hack patterns I’ve already got 🤪 You were reading the finished length and lower edge width measurements when looking for the hip fgm on the first robe I think, I always enjoy and appreciate these videos and your commentary cracks me up every time!

The Vintage wrap dress is really cute, though not for me being an apple shape. I rally like McCalls 8389, the short /mini version of the skirt. I just may need to get that to make for my daughter; made in denim would be cute.

I liked this collection, it was young and fresh. Unfortunately I don’t buy McCalls due to too many patterns have bad instructions and poor fit. Great review as usual. Thanks.

My view on the Brandi Joe patterns were for teen sewist that want it sexy and out there 😅. The guys pattern seemed for a newbie sewist too. The elastic to make it easy. Just give them pockets and your good.

I watched these patterns review in reverse from the way you recorded them. I just wanted to say. You are so good! You nail the problems with fit right off. I’ve been a sewer for more years than I want to admit. I agree with you 99 % you are just nicer than I would be. And Yes the pattern companies do need to put more information on the pattern package. I get excited when I see you do the new pattern review. Thank you keep up the great work. I know it’s a lot of work.👏🦩
