Sears and JC Penny made many of these in the 70's and they even came with a cassette deck.

I bought the MTI 100 in September 2021 after waiting for it 4 months on order. The controls are sort of junk but I looked the other way because it sounds good enough. After 3 months of owning it and using it maybe 20 times, it stopped working all together. Won’t even turn on. Nearest authorized service provider is saying 4-8 months repair time. Don’t buy one of these if you like having something to play your music on or if you don’t want to light your money on fire. Extremely disappointed.

Great review! Just wanted to check can I connect this Integrated Turntable Amp to my AV receiver so that I can use the bookshelf speakers to play with my Atmos setup as well when watching movies? Basically like a home theatre pass through.

This is exactly the product I am looking for with everything all in one, but I don't want to pay $7k. Are there any lower priced options to this with a similar feature set?
@KollerNi Жыл бұрын
Did you find anything reasonable since I’m looking for the same thing without paying a fortune… Roughly 14k€ incl. speakers is way too much and I think not worth the stock pickup/needle…
@NytronX Жыл бұрын
@@KollerNi Nope, I don't think it exists. After adding a handful of vinyl records to my cart from walmart and target to get started and seeing the cart totals, I decided to just not get into vinyl. Too expensive, and FLAC is objectively better / equivalent. Once I am a multi-millionaire, I will get into it.

How does the quality of the amp compare to an entry level integrated such as the ma5300?
@WorldWideStereo4 жыл бұрын
Thanks for your question. McIntosh “quality” continues to be a benchmark of the McIntosh brand. Design, engineering, product application, esthetics, hand-built manufacturing technics, and component parts all contribute to consistent McIntosh performance over time.

@Tim Machina I think what he was trying to say is that Mcintosh doesn't make low quality components. Really depends on they speakers you want powered. Should be plenty for most bookshelf designs. Then maybe add a powered sub.

Can you listen to it though bluetooth headphones?

And can you listen to it through bluetooth headphones with another bluetooth signal coming in like a phone or tablet?
@WorldWideStereo4 жыл бұрын
Thanks for your inquiry. The McIntosh MTI 100 has a Bluetooth receive function to allow a smart device to stream content to the unit. The unit has a dedicated headphone jack for wired headphones but not for wireless Bluetooth headphones.

Thank you so much for the review, really helped me in deciding on a turntable. I have Linn Klimax 350 passive speakers, which have heavy wattage. I was wondering if I can pair my speakers with this turntable, or do I have to add anything else to it?
