Review of Dylan

There is a second Bob Dylan album in 1973 though Dylan himself had nothing to do with it's release. Columbia released a bunch of earlier recorded songs by Bob Dylan, among them songs like 'Mr. Beau Jangles' and the Joni Mitchell classic 'Big Yellow Taxi'. What does this collection of songs sound like years later?

Hi! Why do you say in the beginning that this is Dylan's 2nd studio album? It isn't.

I think that album was released by Columbia as a protest at Dylan signing to Geffen. I agree it's his weakest until then, but you can't really blame BD as he didn't want it to be released! I like Sara Jane and Spanish Is The Loving Tongue the most. But I know alot of people like Can't Help Falling... Did you listen to Greatest Hits Vol 2 or skip that? Theres a half dozen non album songs on it from the 60s and 70s. Btw, for me, JWH is a 5 star masterpiece. It was highly influential. To think Dylan and The Band wrote and recorded the Basement Tapes songs, and then he made JWH straight after is simply mind-blowing to me.
