Thanks for the update, putting together a PA10 of my own right now.

Its a strange marketing strategy but their complete rifles are more expensive than if you buy the complete upper and complete lower as two separate parts. I just ordered a complete upper with 18" stainless barrel and keymod handguard for $399 and a complete lower with Magpul buttstock and polished trigger group for $179. Thats $578 for the complete rifle. Can't beat that price.

heyjacks i bought mine on Friday upper 20” upper for 399.99 and the lower for 179.00. So like you said can’t beat the price so yes lol i bought it. Lol total of 579.98 free shipping.

got one of these about a week ago, had some teething issues from never using a rear charging handle (would still rather have a side charge) and need to find some sights for it but otherwise it's a real good rifle for the price.

Thanks for the review. With the bad reviews of the Gen 1's, it might take a while for people to realize that PSA fixed the issues. I picked up a 18" SS with free float rail for 699 with the mindset that I would be willing to tweak the rifle if needed. I have only put 80 rounds through it, but it has been perfect so far. I have not seen an AR 10 with these features for close to the same price. I put a Nikon M-308 scope on it. The only thing I would consider doing to this rifle is changing the mil-spec trigger.

the problems they were having was the gen 1. this is the gen 2. it has not had the same issues. psa usually does a great job of fixing problems. i have a gen 2 as well. i have over 100 rounds through mine with no problems.

Could someone tell me the size of the buffer for a PA 10 18" barrel; is it 2.5" or 3.25"?
