Review of the 1620 Workwear Durastretch Cargo Pant

First impressions of 1620’s top of the line technical work pant. These use a special 4-way stretch fabric from Tweave known as Durastretch (also found in other high end tactical gear from Arcteryx and Triple Aught Design). It’s lightweight and breathable while being abrasion/oil/stain/water repellant as well. They sport a very convenient pocket configuration, with YKK zippers throughout. Double knee construction with internal knee pad insert pockets. Everything is 100% made in the USA, including the fabric itself. This review reflects my personal opinion, and was not influenced or requested by 1620.

Got the standard 1620 cargo NYCO pants and absolutely love them but their 2.0 Utility double knee pants are my favorite.

I am. They can get a little pilly (I think that’s the term) in spots of high wear, like that fuzziness you get when you abrade synthetic fibers, but no holes. The only annoyance I’ve found is your foot can catch the knee pad pocket when you put them on so just be mindful of that and don’t jam your leg through. But they’ve held up well, the pocket configuration is awesome.

Depends on your needs and style preferences, I’d say both are durable and made for work but 1620 products are made in the USA, truewerk is not.
