Review of the Arai Astro Gx ( Quantic / Contour X )

Is this more comfortable and aerodynamic compared to the rapide at higher speeds? I can’t decide between this or the rapide.

They have very similar shape, but the Astro is quieter and has better venting.

Do you remember if they had different padding sizes? I bought one and it’s so loose I can pull it above my chin

Yes you can order different pad sizes, but if you can pull it off easily, you probably need a size down for the whole helmet.

@@onemorerev that’s what I was afraid of the guy said I needed an XL even though I knew my size. Problem is I don’t think I can return it or exchange like I can in the states

​@@mLeMical Since the XL doesn't share any shell sizes with other size, you can only go 1 size up for the top lining, to 10mm from 7mm. Then get a 25mm or even a 30mm cheek pads.

Have not tried RX7, but with most race helmets, they tend to be noisier than touring helmets. The RX7 I presume is the loudest.

Sir tanong lang.. hjc rpha 70 gamit ko size large.. ano size po ako sa arai. Sabi nila mas comfy daw arai astro Gx... hope na masagot po thank you

How is the fit of the HJC on your head? The Arai is better for Asian rounded head.

@@onemorerev fit baman saken ang size large ng HJC rpha 11 at 70 sir.. no pressure point. Snug pero good fit large saken 58-59 kasi large sa hjc
