I've carried and used the Casstrom No.10 for a couple months now. It's a decent knife. There's a lot of pros and a few cons. But overall, not too shabby. Hope you enjoy the video and this beautiful knife.

I like the look of the handle..

Same here, the birch burl handle with matching fire steel is beautiful. And replacement fire steels to match are reasonably priced.

Wonderful information provided, friend. Palm swell and all. I think, just recently they did not cryo cuenche the steel. So the latest is an upgrade with finer structure, increasing hardness and thus both edge retention and tensile strength (without sacrifice of toughness).

Yeah they’re great blades. No issues other than for the money they could do a better job with the sheaths. But that’s my only minor complaint.

Awsome knife! Had it for years I have the stainless steel version

Thanks! Yeah it’s a really nice blade. The stainless had me concerned when I bought it. But after a few months of use… nah it’s great. Easy to maintain and almost effortless to keep a shaving sharp edge.

The leather is more than thick enough to last you a life time and then some.

I work with leather everyday. While the quality isn’t bad, it could be a 1/2oz to an oz thicker and more finished for the money. Just my opinion though. It’s very nice none the less. I edc the knife for about a year. The leather held up fine with the normal wear and tear. A lifetime though, I don’t see it going the distance. However, I do have blades with sheaths that I would say the sheath will last a lifetime, if not several lifetimes. This knife albeit a great knife and sheath isn’t in that category. Thanks for watching! And all that aside it’s still a great knife to carry and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a great knife that doesn’t break the bank and will last a very long time.

@@praetor47 I’m pretty sure mine has all the bells and whistles. I don’t see one that offers more on their website. As of right now when you put one in the shopping basket to ship to the US it comes to just over 200€ which works out to $217. Throw in a dangler for another 22€. That’s with a discount. I understand the costs associated with creating a product and getting it to various markets. I own a fairly successful glove company and work with leather daily. It’s a great knife, but I stand by what I said. It’s great but they could have done better finish work and better leather on the sheath. After carrying this knife for about a year I can say with certainty the belt loop will fail within a couple years even if your using a dangler on it like i am. It’s a great knife but the sheath, although good quality could be better for the money. If costs for them are really that much of an issue, I would be willing to pay a couple extra dollars for a sheath that matched the quality of the knife. As a business owner myself, quality matters.
