@@sabinpantis4149 He can do mono, this is probably stereo and that mic is only picking up from one side of it.

Get yourself a lav mic to plug into your PC, I think that would work out well for how far you are from your camera and less worrying about booming a mic near you :D great video mate!.

A little room treatment to reduce echo reflections would also help with your audio.

Nice honest review as always Greg, thank you, just watched your video on resin temp, noticed i was getting a lot of fails recently, here in Ireland this past week the temp at night has dropped so i moved the setup to a warmer part of the apartment, less light more heat and it resolved. Keep up the great content, noobs like me need as much help as possible. Slan.

How does it compare against the saturn and the mono x? In my country the halot sky is cost only about 20% more then the others, still i don't know if its worth the difference. Great video as always!

Again a great video. I have one question. After all those 3d resin printers you tested, which one would you recommend to most? What is you "go to" printer? I have a small printfarm with 10 anycubic photon mono x printers and printing 24/7 but they still not printing consistant and looking for new printers, what would you recommend?

Well if you want the best detail and also a quality small printer the Sonic mini 8K would be my top right now. Larger the Saturn, or if really big the Sonic Mega 8k

Shame about the shipping damage/Hulk the Out of Work Package Handler, but at least the chassis can take a hit. Non-Chitu is super (and I'll bet that news fell into their laps and Just the right time!) Sure wish manufacturers would move away from the redundant vat screws that take an eon to undo and just move to something like that IBEE swivel ear solution. I'm beginning to hedge bets on whether I wear out my first LCD panel or the motor running the screw ball motor while it's still in warranty; been printing A TON of models with it. Aside from the pack-in FEP getting immediately replaced with nFEP, that machine has been great.

Did you have any cracks on the cover? I got two of them and cover was cracked on both 🤣 Just to add the VAT is amazing indeed and so easy to change the FEP on it! It’s the only VAT I enjoy replacing the FEP on.

Hey, I’m having a problem with my Halot Sky’s screen were the entire screen lights up just enough that it causes the resin in the vat to thicken and slightly yellow. The actual print area is only slightly brighter and results in semi solid resin on the FEP. I’ve tried changing the screen and updating the firmware. Have you experienced this issue?

Hey, this is kind of an off topic question but I'm not sure how else to contact you. ?? I keep running into this same problem with my prints. I'm thinking there has got to be an easy solution to it but I can't find it. I keep downloading stl files of models to resin print. The look fine, but they are hollow and fail because the wall thickness is too thin. How do you take a hollow model and fill it in to make it all 1 solid piece? I'm trying to print little tanks. The models are made up of all kinds of little shapes spliced together but they are all hollow! It's driving me nuts!! lol.... This might make a good topic for you to do a video on. I bet I'm not the only person running into this. Thanks!

I have read that this machine is very slow and needs at least 5s of exposure, is it true? I'm waiting for the reviews of the new Halot Max to come out, I just hope it's not too slow.

The larger the build surface the slower it needs to go. This is due to increased surface area of fep and increased suction forces on fep

@@adamfilipowicz9260 I know that, however the Halot Max is not much bigger than the Halot sky, in the Mega 8K yes its slowness is justified by its area. The direct competitor to the Halot Max, the Elegoo Jupiter has proven to be almost as fast as the Anycubic Mono X.

I tried a wireless lav and for some reason the results were not good, I think the rom has echo, I'm going to try and add some things to dampen that and try again :)
