Great review, thanks for all the details. My full size dryer just died and we were about to put house on market. Don't want to invest in a new big dryer just to leave it behind when the house sells! This looks like perfect solution. Half the price of a full size and we can take it with us.

Bit of advice. If your using high heat especially. When they are dry, you should always move the control setting to about 5-10 minute mark before it turns off. Too go through the cooling down process. Will help with the life of the appliance. Plus it helps with less wrinkles and less ironing. I love your reviews. Im nor buying this. I've used mines twice. At first I was like this not even drying my clothes. I put it on 140 and I think I waited two hours to check again and I was surprised the clothes was dried. They wasn't hot. Yesterday it was hot when I opened the dryer door. So I basically the second time put the vent thing in back the hole. Skid it inside the silver hose attached to the wash room wall. So you don't have to put it outside a window. First time I used the hose and put it outside the door . There's no fumes or anything noticable. Anyway so it's nice to have and convience . I put a couple of shirts and pants and socks in so you might need to place and move clothes around to make sure everything is dry but it beats going to laundry mat and spending $$$

How do you adjust temp/drying time to limit shrinking? In a regular dryer I dry on low for 30-35minutes?! I want the panda due to reputation but also worried about shrinking everything because it seems hot or air is the only true option(not counting the cool for 20min🤷♀️) its listed as the same model number but now has 2 buttons and the dial is blue up to 20min the rest is red other than the air dry side 🤷♀️
@GreatGreebo9 ай бұрын
I’m very paranoid about shrinking and this worked just fine…..more than likely they mixed up the specs from the 3.5 cf and the 3.75 cf dryers ..that happened to me (I’ll Google and get back to you) what you are describing was the 3.5 cubic foot dryer…mine was the 3.75 cubic foot model…..so, on mine the dial was LOW heat up to 20 minutes then went to medium heat if you set it 25-80 minutes and then anything above that was HIGH heat…AND there was a HIGH/LOW button so if you had it on LOW and set for 40 minutes it dried a much cooler “medium” than if you had the button on HIGH and running for 40 minutes. If I needed 40 minutes of cool, I’d just put the button on LOW and set the timer for 20 minutes and restart it for another 20 minutes afterwards….Overall, it was very versatile and my electric bill didn’t go up noticeably! And the shrinkage was NOT an issue. If you don’t hear back from me in the next day or so, leave a NEW comment on a fresh post to remind me and I’ll be sure to compare mine with what they currently are advertising. It seems like mine didn’t exactly match up with what they advertised (they had mixed up the 3.5 and the 3.75 cf model/spec description) mine, the actual 3.75 CUBIC FOOT, Model PAN760SW came with the air (green) and blue, orange and red color/temps on the dial and the HIGH/LOW button. Mine is an actual 3.75CF Dryer and that what you should get too. Huge difference in the drying settings between the 3.5 & 3.75. Most websites will goof up the model numbers so read the specs. Regardless of what they lost as the model number, GO BY THE CUBIC FOOT of the dryer. You want 3.75 CF
@GreatGreebo9 ай бұрын
Yep, I’m pretty sure they’ve mixed up the description and model numbers. Here is an example link so you can see what the actual 3.75 cubic foot model *will* have (you are being advertised a 3.5 CF as a 3.75 CF model.) www.google.com/shopping/product/1222909810306493085?channel=ipad_bm&client=safari&q=pan760sf+3.75-cu.ft.+portable+dryer&prds=eto:8337874599865123312_0;8618905335509200830_0,pid:9460024311941233260,rsk:PC_5856982894418505232&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwjspcrS3-CEAxVzITQIHbatCF4Q9pwGCA0

I crack window the window about three inches and put the exhaust hose up there to vent (I have a few books lined up on the window sill so it's even less noticeable)...it's really not very noticeable at all.(or, Having a box fan running in the window at the same time.drowns out any noise...it's very quiet)...IF you are at extreme risk, there are inexpensive boxes you can attach to the exhaust hose that allows you to "vent" inside the apartment so you don't even have to deal with venting outside

You will be SO HAPPY. It’s absolutely great. If you are limited on space and/or money maybe considering getting the electric SPIN DRYER I review. Clothes dry while hanging up very quickly! Here is the one I got: kzbin.info/www/bejne/aIGZqImGbJdrhbehIll answers ANY QUESTIONS you have. If you don’t have the extra space or am a bit short on funds…the electric spin dryer is a good compromise! It gets out so much extra water from your clothes that when you hang the clothes up, all the clothes dry quickly. They *DO NOT* have that crunchy, wrinkled feeling to them like lime dried clothes of old! You don’t have to use the space to store a dryer. You don’t have to use up any extra electricity with this spin dryer …your clothes really do feel like they’ve just been pulled out of the dryer.

I got mine from Amazon...if it’s running cold: A) the heating element could be bad and you need to return it immediately. If that doesn’t get you some heat then there’s a much bigger problem but either way, you need to return it if your knob isn’t not moving and counting down the time. Please let me know how it goes! Gah I just ordered this model from Walmart after receiving a busted magic chef brand dryer. It won’t be here till May 20th, and I’m beyond ready for it.

Brightfuture I looked at that one too...it was smaller and the door was smaller so I got the 3.75. The one I have is nearly the same size inside as a regular dryer but for a lot less money and uses way less electricity...if you can’t afford the bigger one, I think you’ll like the Panda 3.5 that you are looking at...just remember the door opening is smaller and the inside holds less. Check what capacity it has to be sure it will work for you

Didn't you say on your spin dryer video, that using a regular dryer causes damage to the fibers in your clothing? Well, well. Very interesting a dryer review (LOL)!!!

@UCAPZTr6NYsu6IZvWYLxheFQ : Out of curiosity, what would be the point of having a spin dryer, when you have a electric clothes dryer. For instance a Panda spin dryer (PanSP23B) currently cost $173; and a Panda Electric Clothes dryer cost $279 (8.8 lb drying load). The spin dryer works nice for those who do not mind hanging their clothes on a clothesline to shorten the drying time, which is something I prefer (now that I am retired and have no children to wash for). When I had children (and was working), I preferred the dryer. What would be the logic for having both? Thanks for your insights.

This thing is trash!! Mine suddenly stopped working.. Don't buy it..

@@feefee42 that sucks! I have heard that more recent ones might not be the same quality as they used to be like when they weren’t as popular. Mine showed up with a dent (didn’t affect its usability, just cosmetics) and they immediately knocked a chunk off the price…I got mine through amazon prime and they’re good at making things right. TAKE YOURS BACK…they have one year warranties I’m pretty sure

@@feefee42 p.s. I sold mine when we moved out of the apartment and my neighbor who bought it is STILL using it. Hopefully you get yours sorted out!!! That’s what sucks…things get popular and suddenly the price goes UP and the quality goes DOWN. it’s not surprising IMO 🤦🏻♀️
