Review of the US-Pro Tools heavy duty professional tool chest

I bought the much bigger one about 6 years ago for £850. it is every bit as good as my mates Snap on tool chest. (in fact I put snap-on badges on mine lol everyone thinks it is a Snap-on ) Mine has A LOT of weight in it and is used most days. The only problem I have had in 6 years is one runner lost its bearing so would not slide out properly . I called them up this was 3 years after I bought and they sent me out a pair of new runners on a next day service TOP CUSTOMER SERVICE. The tool chest still looks brand new all the draws are spot on, Best tool box I have ever had. The US-PRO PROFESSIONAL Tool chests are as good as any you will buy at this price. Yes I would have liked a £3000 Snap-on but in the real world that's just to much money to spend if you are not a big business. Mine is for home use, but I strip bikes for a living so gets used a lot and is packed with tools and I mean packed. Great tool chest and I would say to anyone buy one. I went and picked mine up from the air base where there place is. Worth every penny.

Forgot to say the labels you slide in the doors to wright on put a bit of glue behind them or they keep sliding out.I do not use them as I know what's in my tool box.

I've not bothered with using the labels. As you say, you get to know what is in each drawer anyway.

Thanks for making the time to do this great review! I assume you didn't get the tool organisers you have in each drawer... if so, where did you get all the organisers from? That could make a great follow up video, my tools are in an absolute disorganised mess atm!

Does it have drawers retaining feature, so they don't open all at once on the slightest slope causing the unit to capsize? I had that problem before and I don't want anything without at least magnetic or bump on the end of the guides. Thanks

They do have some friction so the drawers have to be pulled open and will not slide out by themselves. But if the angle was too great, they might self open.

Oh yes. That's new. Well 3 years on, these US Pro toolboxes are still doing well with zero issues.

With the silver trims, that looks exactly the same as the old Teng 7 series boxes

Could well all be the same...coming out of the same factory.

The middle box doesn't match the other 2, the silver drawer handles are lower down and there's no lower lip

Same as iphone...China. It's not so much where, it's what's the quality control like, which is key.
