This was helpful thanks (and good hearing form another Canadian since our definition of cold is different than other places lol). What do you put over top? If the roads are snow and salt free here in Toronto I'm routinely riding in single digits and below 0 and have got a good layering situation with standard base layers and thicker jackets. Do you put a regular winter jacket over top?

Awesome review, great post! I have the short sleeve version, for cold morning starts that gradually warm up after, the Assos mid layer is absolutely perfect to wear under a jersey or jacket. I agree also. "Pocketable" ??, mmm..., Not so much! But that doesn't take away anything from the design and quality. This base layer is top notch!

Hey there. thanks for your video. i got this mid layer today and could not ride with it yet. but i have the same thoughts about the cap/face mask thingy. its somehow great to have it but somehow weird not to get it off. stowing it under jacket works but its not as easy as it could be. i had one thought tho: you can put your head through it so its like a scarf. i tried it and it seems to work that way but i havent tried it yet with riding as i said. so maybe its a silly idea from me 🙂

Like the product just picked on up. So first the base layer than this mid layer and then the asso winter jacket jamf on top. What’s the difference between the base skin layer you presented and the ultra one they also have ?

Are you gonna get the Johdah jacket (that 850 CAD one) ? I currently have the Mille GT winter jacket ULTRAZ (economy johdah) and its great, just wondering if the expensive one is any warmer or its just more aero due to tighter fit that Equipe line usually is over the mille line.. Btw great to see that youre kinda assos crazy like myself, i only ride in assos exclusively :D

Assos fits small. But this stretches. I wear a medium. 5'10 165. Stupid question, can you return it? I think I would go with xl. If it's too small he won't wear it. If it's a little big, he will. Hope that helps !! Thanks for you comment

@@jonmaloneycycling7593 I guess if you want to be a bit more accurate than me you could also cut the stichting with a scalpel and if you change your mind you can always have a tailor sew it back on
