Wise words from both of you. I'm 70 now, so getting dropped is a given. But I tell myself "hey at least I'm out there". I also remind myself that if I could magically de-age 40 years, I could mop the road with these guys. Maybe yes, maybe no, but it makes me feel better ;-).

I got red AXS HDR. They (levers) are pretty comfortable but definitely too big. If I could buy again, I would buy Dura Ace 😢

Hi Jon, Thanks for your video! My English is not very good, so I'm asking this based on my understanding: Can I use R9200 52/36 chainrings with an R9100 11/28 cassette and R9100 front and rear derailleurs with an 11-speed chain? Will it work? Does it need adjustment of the derailleur? If it doesn't work, what would I need to change to make it work? I appreciate your help!

I’ve drafted back and forth with people quite a lot without speaking. I’m of the opinion that if you can barely eek by me and I kinda stick to you, you’re fine with it esp if you start pointing stuff out. In that case, I don’t get full draft bc I’m prob 5 ft off. But I’ll also pass back and share the load. Usually we when someone peels off, someone will yell good ride. If you blow by me quick or don’t give signals, I get that you’re not into it. If someone hangs on my wheel and I don’t like it, I’ll drop them on a short climb and they can’t catch up. You did nothing wrong.

A couple days ago I was harassed by a TN state trooper, basically I was riding in the right lane while it was empty around 12:30am, just got off work. Bro turns around to come tell me how easy I can die which ik and then he kept telling me to shut up or he was gonna arrest me. I filed a complaint and their doing an investigation. I was fully lit up with my lights on blink and was doing about 25-30ish. Bro told me I need to keep my ass on the shoulder yet the shoulders in Bedford county are littered with trash, glass, broken car parts, gravel and dead animals and trucker alligators. On 25mm tires? Gravel and glass ain't ideal.

Completely agree with you on this. I had a similar situation happen where I approached a couple who were riding together one day and they were clearly riding at a slower pace than I was. I called out ‘on your left’ and passed but the guy for some reason decided to jump on my wheel and left his wife behind! I looked back and saw him on my wheel but he didn’t say anything. I could tell he was struggling to hold my pace and I was similarly annoyed that he just jumped on without saying anything. So after a few minutes I decided to crank up the pace and drop him. After all, his wife was probably more annoyed than I was 😅

Eat after your bike ride.. not during.. digestion stops when we are doing physical activity. You can drink though during a ride like juice or one of those fruit pouches.

Id suggest a better container to shape the rice slab better (only for shape purposes) as well the wrapping paper should be parchment paper as the foil may stick depending on the texture. I will try your recipe, I can imagine with all that sugar they would turn out rather sweet

Hey Man, This video was EXCELLENT!!! I've been trying to figure this out for months and I finally found this video which helps tremendously. Thanks you so much for being clear and presenting all of the positive and negative aspects of each device. Also, having the pricing information was helpful too. Peace and blessings my friend, keep up the great work. I have liked and subscribed and will check out your other videos. Take care.

I have a T2 Classic with the 2 bike add on. To mount the 4 bike setup I recommend starting with the "Add On" disconnected and only mounting the Rack, then once in the hitch receiver with the rack in the down position now mount the "Add On" rack. There are only two bolts to secure the "Add On" to the rack. At this point you may find it easer to put the rack in the vertical position to add and tighten the two bolts. It's a lot easier to manage alone both from the standpoint of lifting and aligning. And I don't always need the 4 bike setup. This is my recommendation.

I ride in the country. I don’t care about the sound being elegant and high quality. Don’t care about the microphone. I listen to audio lectures of all sorts, so What I really care about is the noise canceling. The wind noise cancels out the sound in AirPod Pros and Sony 4000 and 5000 mx. and both are uncomfortable after 30-40 minutes. Bose QC ultras are the best that I’ve tried for noise cancellation and they are reasonably comfortable. Suggestions anyone?

I live in Tucson and ride almost exclusively on the road. It's not bad, it's awesome! There are some drivers who don't give much space but many who do and when you have so many cyclists driving you have a pretty good shot at a cyclist watching out for you.

You need a pump. Watching that tire go right back down after pumping it up with your CO2 sucks.

I don’t believe in fasting. When I cycle to work which is 9.5 miles, I eat before I leave and then when I arrive I have something small before I start work. It takes me about 45 minutes depending on traffic to get to work because of the route. It’s my form of training for the big rides

Funny. This is very different for me. Ive ridding with many people i didn't know and taking turns. Sometimes i approach them, sometimes they approach me. There is never any communication. You just start working together. Only at the end you say bye to each other.

Co2 only if your racing other than that stick with the pump. If using tubes co2 leaks through the rube and if tubeless there are other issues that need to be avoided and they are only a one shot deal.

Wow, thanks for going through the pain of testing AXS cassette on 12 speed Di2. There is a ton of misinformation out there regarding this exact combo, especially on Reddit. A lot of people say it works flawlessly. I had a bunch of parts in my Amazon cart and was about to drop a mint on something that had no chance of working. Seeing a video on exactly how poorly it performs was eye opening. You just saved me a bunch of heartache, money, and especially time! Thank you so much.

Apple wired in-ear headphones, both ears, Not dangerous, in fact it is actually easier to hear and I find the headphones remove some of the wind noise and I can better hear cars coming behind me, I've done this in Sydney Australia for at least 10 years with massive traffic and in Europe where there is way less cars in remote areas with little traffic. Having headphones in ears but not playing anything, there is absolutely no issue. I play music or listen to youtube playlists and audiobooks. Don't know about other headphone brands or types YMMV.

As a new road cyclist, I see oher cyclist with nicer bikes and tend to draft them to try and learn from their riding and compare myself to them if they ever have a problem or don't want me there for any reason I back off and follow from a distance (assuming they're going the same route)
