Have only used BP Pulse once - the Hume Hwy northbound service centre outside Glenrowan, using an RFID card. It worked fine at the time, though I see it’s now been offline for a good week according to PlugShare. By far the best chargers I’ve found are Evie and Chargefox (not counting Teslas SCs). Evie for its plug and go convenience, while a Chargefox tends to be the most economical.

What a coincidence. BP Glenrowan is the last time I properly used a BP pulse charger on a road trip. If it works and your car is the only one there you can get up to 99 KW charge rate. Totally agree on your rankings of Tesla first and then Evie and Chargefox second

I am constantly booted out of the app too. I don't even use it that often. The local one near me is also charging 60c for ~55kW (advertised as 75kW) which is OK but I can find an Ampol or Evie (or even Everty...) for a cheaper rate or higher power.

Thank goodness BP supports RFID so their terrible app can be avoided by people who are prepared

The BP at Glenrowan is awful. Always underspeed. Spent 20 mins on the phone to service WHO COULDNT FIND THE SITE let alone help me. You still pay full $ for a slow charge though.

That's a very disappointing experience and reflects poorly on BP pulse . Sounds like they're using cheap outsourced overseas customer support who don't have much EV knowledge or Australian geography/map resources . In comparison EVIE, Chargefox and JOLT have local Aussie support staff

Have you seen how expensive they are lol? It’s more than double the price of most fast chargers and almost the speed of the free chargers

And Tritium hardware. That doesn't help

I agree that the BP app is crap, but I have never had an issue with BP Pulse chargers. Chargefox have a better app, but their chargers never work!

Chargefox can be somewhat variable it's true , that's because they don't own the chargers in their network. They just handle the app, payments and customer service. Where the charger owners do a good job like RAA in South Australia and Synergy in WA their Chargefox locations are fantastic to use
