The trick with opening XShot boxes is to cut the tape and unfold, then unscrew. Also, you missed the stickers.

if you have 12 round rival magazines, you can use them to reload the Orbit , they just slide through! its awesome! I wish there were 18 round mags tho :(

Ordering the Orbit on my next check. Can't wait to get my hands on one of those. I know the Meteor can hold 7 rounds: one in the chamber with six ready to go. And I think you can use the Rival mags as speed loaders for both blasters. Not sure. Will check my Meteor if it can do that.

Just got mine in the mail !! super strong QUALITY spring ! I mean it goes KLANG!! When it fires! luv the design - FYI - JAMS IF YOU PUT MORE THAN 6 (even though it can fit 7 ) ALSO for anyone getting this as a gift -due to the 2 different loading steps id say its 8/9 yrs of age and up -cant wait for more designs from Zuru! Hasbro better step it up!

Im thinking about maybe wanting to get the orbit later. Is it worth it? Coop772s review says its not that good but i honestly think its very good after seeing this and also knowing that rival and chaos balls can be used together in same blasters

The Artemis seems like the closest equivalent to the Orbit, and it wins on capacity and slam-fire, but I really like how thin the Orbit is and think that could make a really good backup blaster strapped down on a backpack or something. Never could find a comfortable way to "stow" an Artemis...

The one thing I was waiting for you to mention is that the Orbit does not like Rival or Headshot rounds. In testing I found that the only rounds that performed reliably were Chaos and Proton rounds!

Doesn't shoot rival ammo. Xshot ammo is slightly bigger and so is the chamber. When the chamber pushes the ball back into the air restrictor to open it, about 99% of the time, rival balls just get pushed deeper into the chamber and it misfires. You have to remove the air restrictor.

@@thomasrenelli Its not cross compatible with the Orbit. Chaos rounds will fire well out of Rival blasters but not the other way around for the Orbit

Mine shoots everything just the same and i have 6 or 7 different brands of rounds and with a worker 14kg longshot spring the orbit turns into a monster.

I have a idea for the meteor and 3D printed parts. Imagine a piece that you put on the bottom of the handgard that takes a magazine and feeds the internal magazine and has a port that allows you to load both.

- These blasters need speedloaders. - I think you can also load it like how you load Rival mag in your Ulta-Fast loading video. - The gold blasters makes you look like an Arab Warlords.

I read a review that mentioned sub par range despite the chrono readings, any word on that?

esnipe2 I have observed this with my Meteor. The rounds drop sooner than they do on a stock Kronos. My suspicion is that it has to do with the hop up tab. It’s further back in the barrel than other Rival style blasters. This might generate some unintended drag.

You can easily double chamber the Orbit and have it function exactly like the Atlas

Loading mechanism is neat, but if the spring breaks or jams, you're finished. Magazines can just be swapped.

Not realy, the feeding spring never jams and can be replaced with a rubber band if you manage to break ot somehow.

kinda. The Liberators Muzzle Velocity is only on Mid to High 70s but i also kinda like the liberator because of its shotgun ergonomics

Sadly the performance doesnt carry over to retail. The units bought on amazon as of 10/8/19 shoot VERY poor. The rounds kind of flop out and fall maybe 2 feet at times. Tested with nerf, dart zone, and xshot rounds. All VERY poor.

Mine have 1 out of 14-15 shots flop out using Chaos rounds. All Rival rounds always flop out but at ~$20 for a blaster and 50 rounds each, I can overlook occasional faultiness as a home plinker. I'd still want an artemis for serious nerf wars for its reliability.

On which unit the machine Prochrono measures the speed of the shots? m/s?

Both the ProChrono and the chronograph we're currently using (I forget the name; I do apologize) measure in Feet per Second (FPS) and Meters per Second (m/s). We use FPS as the standard in our reviews, so that's the unit of numbers you see on screen. - Perry

Can you design a working shoulder stock so that it is useable? It was shaking all over when you were priming it. I think adults would benefit from it.
