Nice review, CJ! :D Your little cutscenes in here were fun haha. Text chat is awful for trying to communicate in this game xD I do wish they'd implement built-in chat, even though we've all gotten used to just using Discord. I was fortunate to have learned how to play the game at the same time as the same group of friends I usually play with, so much of my "I'm new to the game and don't know what's going on" behaviors would be regarded as extremely suspicious with veteran players now xD It took me forever to start remembering about visual tasks happening, it's like my memory would get wiped between each emergency meeting and I'd forget what I had seen lol. (Also, that Vent glitch was tragic xD "AVENGE ME, AVENGE MEEEE" The whole glitch section was great lol) I think 4/5 is a pretty fair rating! I'm too biased to give ratings to games I enjoy xD

This game, and Mario Party, are both surefire ways to find out who your real friends are. (That being said, if I wanted to watch people scream at the top of their lungs and point fingers at each other, while other people are dying left and right, I'd just go watch the news.)

This review was a blast to be a part of, and a long time coming. My favorite Parts/Jokes are at: 4:29-4:33 I understood that reference, but also a great visual gag. 5:21-5:28 A joke rule of three ending with a live action bang. 7:03-7:18 A high risk, high reward job. 8:08-8:17 Yeah pretty much. 8:33-8:54 You know you lost as an imposter, when you blame others on the spot like that. 9:01-9:11 If you see a body folks REPORT IT! It can mean the difference between survival and expulsion in the game. 9:17-9:35, Note to self: don’t kick them out for reporting the body. 9:51-10:06 This either reminds me of the MINE! Seagulls from Finding Nemo or the Blah Blah chatter from the SpongeBob episode Band Geeks… YOU MAKE THE CALL! 10:49-11:00 Sometimes honesty is not the best policy. 11:02-11:10 It’s a shame you even can’t trust yourself in this game. 11:13-11:28 One of these things is not like the others. 11:38-11:42 Just another day on the murder ship folks! 11:47-11:52 They do have big fingers, don’t they? 12:45-13:25 You two trapped each other in a corner, you only have yourselves to blame for this. 15:31-15:52 That my friends is what we call an Imposter Rage Quit. 16:04-16:13 They should implement this option in later updates 16:32-16:50 …and a clutch win for the crew! 17:07-17:15 Scientist I can understand, but the imposter can be lying about being an engineer if no one has called it yet. 18:24-20:38 Good choice of music there 18:40-19:25 How to sound like a psycho in one easy step! 21:38-21:42 Great audio gag. 22:40-22:50 I saw the body as it was falling down, but that is no guarantee that the imposter has to admit it. 23:10-23:17 Not even sticking together will help you. 23:18-23:25 He’s not kidding, When I was an imposter alongside a teammate one time, I self reported by accident and won the game because of my bluff. 24:18-24:57 No one is safe! Intentional or Not! 25:08-25:32 Behold! Shape-shift Requiem! 25:33-26:13 This needs to be fixed or at least a control option 28:26-28:32 You darn tootin it was! And a bit of an audio hiccup at 8:41 (Sorry I didn’t bring it up during the previews, I thought it was the discord players problem.) Final Score: A 4/5 a couple of flaws but overall a good review.

I still love playing Among Us to this day, but man. I really wish there were far more roles than just Scientist, Engineer, Guardian Angel, and Shapeshifter. How we still haven’t gotten roles used in mods as popular as Sheriff, Swapper, Jester, Medic, Executioner, Camouflager, etc. after all this time is still beyond me. I also don’t feel like it’s all that fair to rank the maps btw since each of them are best suited depending on the amount of people that are playing. Skeld is a good map regardless of how many people there are, Mira is a good map if there’s 10 or less people playing, Polus is a good map if there’s 10 or more people playing, and Airship should only be played when there’s 12 to 15 people if you ask me. Skeld would probably be my favorite of the four, but I hesitate to say if I have a least favorite. I will say though that Airship has some of the worst tasks by far with the number switches in Electrical and the safe in Cargo, not to mention those stupid card swipe doors that are even more tedious than the doors you have to open in Polus, and having the most unsafe areas for imposters to kill.

This has to be the funniest review you've done yet, CJ. *XD* While I don't have this game myself, I have seen a _lot_ of modded gameplay here on YT, particularly from 5up and the Socksfor1 crew. Yeah, turns out that modders have been adding roles since before they were officially a thing- including the Sheriff role you mentioned. One of the big role mods is called Town of Us, which adds in a ton of roles for Crewmates, Impostors, and even neutral roles with special win conditions, all based on Town of Salem. I've also seen a mod that adds in a map called Submerged. This map is meant for more experienced players, as it has two floors that you travel to and from by either elevators or one-way vents, as well as more complex tasks. The map-specific emergency sabotage here is that everyone needs to secure an oxygen mask in the center room of either floor, and those who don't get one in time die. And then there are the mods that give the Impostors crazy abilities, such as turning into the Hulk, a Titan from Attack on Titan, spiders that can _move tasks around,_ or DaBaby (for whatever reason), using Mario Kart items such as banana peels and green shells, call on Pokemon and capture Crewmates in Poke Balls, or even temporarily summon things like earthquakes (yes, in space, just go with it) and black holes.

Well you certainly did a good job at making it seem legitimate 🤣I bet it was a reference to Iron Man then. So just in case you would like some more games to review in the future, here’s some of my current ideas and you let me know later what you think of them. Zombies Ate My Neighbors and it’s sequel Ghoul Patrol were added to the Switch last year and I never really hear anyone talk about them nowadays so that could be fun to see(the former is one of my favorite games). Another idea is Crash Nitro Kart on the GameCube. No one ever talks about it and I find it to be one of my favorite classic racing games and would love to hear what you think of it. The 2nd to last idea for now that I have for you is a review of the original Star Wars Battlefront on the PS2(I know this may be one of the least likely but it would still be neat). Last idea for now is a review of Kingdom Hearts 3 for the PS4. Just would be awesome to see since you did very old reviews of the 1st two games over 10 years ago.😎👍🏻

There's definitely enough games similar to Among Us such as Town of Salem for them to be considered a genre of their own. Social Mystery? Conspiration Horror? Just throwing random ideas around for the genre name, these games seem to share the concepts of mafia-werewolf games of old when it comes to their mechanics.

When I first play this game I was the imposter twice. And the mobile version I played I lost count how many times I hit the emergency call button and maneuvering your character can be a pain

One time we started playing a game and we were all together, when one of the imposters STRAIGHT UP IN FRONT OF EVERYONE, killed somebody. But because we were all grouped up tightly we couldn't tell exactly who it was that killed the crewmate. That person got away with it Scott free. 10/10 perfect game

So, I have a frustrating Imposter Story from when this game's popularity was still at it's peak, this was one of my first Imposter games. So we were Playing on Mira (already a bad start), and me and one other player using the Blacl color ended up being Imposters. Rarely any Bodies got reported, and I even managed to get it down to where me and my co-Imposter (who were both still in the game), only needed one kill left to win. Well My Co-Imposter (this was in a Public lobby btw), decided to go to Decontamination, Report the Body for NO Reason, the Crewmates Immediately Decide to Sus me out with no reason beyond the fact that I was off by my lonesome for a bit. I was SO frustrated that I screamed at my Phone "YOU BETTER HAVE SOME BIG BRAIN PLAY TO MAKE UP FOR THAT NEGATIVE INFINITY IQ MOVE!". He gets voted out literally right after me. I have never been more Livid because of this game since beyond the occasional Toxic asshole, which is why I only play it with friends on occasion now.
