Thanks for the shoutout mate. I’m not a big fan of them tbh. When it comes to pliers they’re second to none. So much better out there for cheaper 👍🏻

Agree mate, grips & snips absolute ballers don’t get much better but the drivers… the just seem cheap really for the name. As Will says PH2 when you really ever use them? I’ve got that Wera set that was a whole Complete set & the PH 1&2 drivers almost look Brand new! Like you say much better quality drivers out there for less money.

For me, the best ones are the Wera Stainless Steel VDE drivers. Top quality.

We have tried most brands of drivers, ive stuck with the interchangable wera set now, so much easier to carry about and you can slide the toque driver in the pouch and the normal driver heads fit into it. Not sure why knipex bothered making drivers, there other tools are bang on.

I"m sure knipex drivers are made in the czech rep. by a subsidiary company plus in some VDE sets they include wera drivers :)

The best screwdriver at world are PB swiss tools, in europe the seconds are Wera, Whia and Felo.

Screwdriver tips, depends on what you're doing. I use PH1+2 and PZ1+2 on a weekly basis. A couple of weeks ago i cracked out a PH3 for the first time.

@@ElectricianTV Electrical box cover on Chinesium 3 phase motor. Some times they come with a PH head and if they do it's usually a PH2. Motor wasn't that big either, 1.5kW.

Felo ergonic slim range of screwdrivers are bloody lovely let me tell you. Have a go on them, I never saw them on site in the UK so might be a standout vid

To be fair every time I do a video about screwdrivers somebody always mentions of felo ones. I’m definitely going to give them a try and have a little look for them today

You've just got a new sub, appreciate your video mate! I've got the Wera's and was nosing at the knipex, I saw mixed reviews online but even if the packaging is anything to go off, they didn't look like usual Knipex quality. I went for the Wera's because they were on sale and love them but I get what you mean about the grip, it feels more plastic than rubber and it's not always the best thing to grip

Nice Video Will. Best drivers I've ever used in terms of comfort and build quality is Fluke
@ElectricianTV
@ElectricianTV 2 жыл бұрын
It’s funny you should say that because the fluke ones are made by a felo. I must say every time I do a video about screwdrivers a lot of people always comment about them I’ve never use them and I’ve never seen them but I’m definitely going to try him in the future would you recommend them.?

@@ElectricianTV Yep I've tried most brands and so far Fluke seem the most comfortable in the hand as it has a slightly soft grip. Quite expensive but worth it in my opinion

Greta vid! In the same boat, mate. In Australia, this driver set cost me $130. For the money, I don't reckon they hold too much ground against the likes of Wera or (if you can find the older sets) Bahco. That said, they look cracking in my kit next to the rest of my knipex pliers etc. Long story short. I went for looks and set appeal. All told, I still keep 2 Wera and 2 Bahco drivers in the bottom of my kit just in case. And yes, Knipex are taking the piss a bit with the price of these drivers as they are. For the money, I expect a far superior tip to what they give.

@@ElectricianTV I've had the same set of Wiha screwdrivers for about a year now. Tips are still looking brand new. I don't use them all day every day but still plenty each week. I'm the type of person to always use the right screwdriver for the screw. Maybe if you're using PH2 in a PZ2, etc etc, that i can see why you think they're a bit weak.

They make the wera ones in a regular cushion grip and a VDE cushion grip. I don’t own them, yet, but I agree with you the wera hard plastic sucks. If you want a true none slip, try the vessel wood handle drivers. You can get them in a demolition set with strike cap or non tang thru. They’re marketed for non slip.Knipex are the only screw drivers I don’t have and I’m glad I watch this video as I won’t be buying them.
