I have given up on the krypt equipment. Most of us get wrath hammer . Sometimes a player will have to wait over 2-3 months before the krypt drops an equipment. Sometimes I completely forget about them when doing rounds . I Think the first version of the krypt was better even though it was longer . It actually had a higher frequency of drops for equipment, and character cards .

So it's not only me that noticed the epic drop is at 10%, at best, compared to the 1st krypt version.

Shang Tsung's gear, I feel, was designed with Klassic Shang Tsung in mind. His blockbreaker when not debuffed is so specific that I think that you need Smoke to make the most of it. The Well of Souls ability also seems specific for Klassic Shang Tsung. You tag in to trigger it then Snare using Klassic Ermac selection or Snare before tagging him with Klassic Rain sp2 then the well keeps debuffing the opponent to boost Klassic Rain's power generation. MK11 Shang Tsung might be able to get some benefits as MK11 team has characters that Snare and stun but it seems more made for Klassic Shang Tsung.

Still 5 percent extra BB on a FX epic is hilarious. (Considering that it is based on condition)

@MANDMK Yeah, some of the choices are rather odd. Especially since we have Epics such as Shintai of Revenge which gives 45% blockbreaker I believe as standard and shield break on breaking block. I don't know why they didn't go further with this gear. They're interesting but could have done better with them.

The rares are very good that's for sure. I'm using the one for 15 seconds power generation on my klassic Scorpion together with other power generating pieces and it works wonderfully

Mand would you consider redoing an old video of you ranking debuffs and buffs and explaining what they do. I think it would go well with your beginner series and I watched the two parts a few days ago

The gear itself might be somewhat ok, but the grind for it is not by any means. Because it's it's chance based if you get gear drops or not (like the towers) and there are no guaranteed points where one drops (unlike the towers). I don't think there's a more devestating feeling in the game than grinding the krypt and seeing a blue or purple piece pop up after a random fight. But than the gear turns out to be wrath hammer or an equipment pack rare.

I’ve maxed all rares and the boots are the best by far. Epics Quan chi is not bad and Jason’s epic however Jason’s aren’t really good at bosses. Especially Nightmare perhaps slasher will be better option.
