If you need any murder story recs, Agatha Christie has a really good one called And Then There Were None. Another one that’s not as well known is called The Man in the Brown Suit, it’s a major ravenclaw read, but it also has romance throughout the mystery and it’s one of my favorites!

one of my new favorites is Ballad For Sophie by Filipe Melo. It's a graphic novel and they mention classical music a lot. when the music gets mentioned, i recommend listening to that song while reading until the next song is mentioned. Then there is an actual Ballad for Sophie that Filipe Melo wrote, listen to that one at the end when i comes up

Favourite books are definitely Lessons in vengeance by Victoria Lee. It’s dark academia on steroids. Nice LGBTQ representation. Amazing imagery and pros. This book was such a beautiful and twisted mystery. Loved it 10/10. And also Not My Problem by Ciara Smyth. A contemporary LGBTQ romance. Set in an Irish highschool. Giving major Derry girls vibes. P.s. Great to see you back Christine!

Yaaasssss Christine I missed you ❤️ just binged all your videos while doing crafts and it's like hanging out with an old friend ❤️ Some book recommendations if you fancy it: - Blue Roan Child by jamieson findlay (horse girl goes on fairytale adventure - maybe my fave book of all time? Again childhood fave) - drift house by Dale peck (childhood fave, narnia meets pirates) More recently: - sacrifice box by Martin Stewart (the way its written is thematically excellent but it's creepy crawly heavy) - red queen by Victoria aveyard (think mutants and throne of glass had a baby; idk if you've already read it) Tbh my fave books of all time are by Sarah J Maas but I thought you'd like something you probably haven't read yet 😅

I feel like my favourite books of all time are all ones I've heard you talk about already- Ninth House, SoC, Shadowhunters series etc. And I feel like you've already read The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo, but that has been a recent favourite of mine for sure. But one book that I barely hear anyone talk about is Know My Name by Chanel Miller!! Ohmygod, even if memoirs are not your thing, I strongly feel that this is a book everyone must read. It's about what Miller went through regarding her SA case (which happened at Stanford University). I haven't been able to stop thinking about it since I finished it and it pushed me to tears several times. There were so many moments that I was comforted by and related to as an asian woman too. It's written so well, and the messages are so powerful. Blew me away.

At its simplest it just pasta and mashed potatoes mixed together, but to bring it to the next level you add meats & cheeses like bacon & beef, topped with a blend of cheeses. The Picture of Dorian Grey by Oscar Wilde is one of my favs, every sentence is absolutly gorgeous. Not sure if it's your type of book though, because it's more about the language and ideas then the characters. A recen favourit that might be more your style is Princess Floralinda and the forty-flight tower by Tamsyn Muir. It's one of the funniest books I've read, a short charming satire about princesses in fairy tales with two really fun characters (great audiobook)
