I had the opportunity to have a 959 Panigale for more than 6 months, a friend who owned one was going to US for 6 months and he gave it to me to keep it in running and man the Heating issues are freaking real, everytime i used to ride the bike for more than 50kms on the highway my groin used to be so hot that i had to stop the bike, get off and let my groin cool down.

Ducati’s look so good. Everyone’s Dream bike. I have money to buy it but as every other middle class guy who just started earning ( 24 years old ). I have to think about my future and invest the money properly cannot afford to spend 20-25 lacs on a bike like V2 or V4 maybe a few years later I will be able to get one without having to worry about future.

The thing with mirrors is not a issue Its a feature .....they are not foldable in so that they don't change posture at any time as they contribute to aerodynamics . For same reason even the mirror shell is not movable and only the inner glass moves ....so it a feature...not a drawback .....it's basically a track bike ...all the over heating etc u r talking about u will not be felt when on track due to speed unr doing in open atmosphere and and with full leathers ....so take it to tracks thats where it belongs ...u just can not judge it based on u r experience on road .....it's a fantastic motorcycle ...i still miss the desmo valves on new Ducati es

Ducati Cons: 1. Most Ducatis heat up like crazy. Also, the engine usually isn't as refined as the Japanese. 2. Super-expensive cost of ownership and maintenance. A comparable Japanese bike will cost half or sometimes even one-fourth the cost to maintain. 3. They are not nearly as reliable as a comparable Japanese bike will be. Ducatis don't last very long and the maintenance becomes a very big headache in the long run. 4. Very complicated, very sophisticated bikes with lots of electronics. A Japanese bike usually will be far better in terms of usability, reliability, and practicality. Verdict: Ducatis may have more style, but the Japanese bikes definitely have far more substance without losing too much on the style quotient either.

Bro this bike is not for street rides or short rides , this bike is made for track purpose only , if you ware proper gare and take to track there will no one single problem & cons on V2 . Better one suggestion from my side is you both brothers go to race school and lear perfect track use and participate in champions then there will be value and purpose for v2 and also for you both . Plz bro don't take this bike for weekend rides by seeing you many of under age children will influence and will ask there parents this like bikes so better use my suggestion and give message to youth thank you . Coming to the Mirrors part, maybe you will like the Rizoma ones, they look neat and clean and also match the colour of the bike. But yes you won't get the indicators mounted on the mirrors. So maybe you guys can take a call.

Ducati L twin is the most unreliable leg toasting machine from Europe , but they make the most beautiful looking motorcycle , you have better bought a inline 4 BMW s1000r , there no comparison with that German beast it's almost 50 bhp more than this V2 , 22.5 is bit too much for just 155 bhp Ltwin , if it's 18 then it's worth bro anyway ride safe
