Reviewing the cheapest fixed blade Tanto knife on Amazon

I seen a knife review the other day and the guy said it was a great budget knife and the price was 98$. I thought to myself, wow his idea of budget and mine are 2 totally different things. I consider 30$ or less to be a budget knife. Great job brother!. 👏

Mine arrived a few days ago. After mopping up the drool and and untying that silly piece of paracord off the end, I naturally just HAD to play with it... Horrors of horrors! I scratched the blade with my knife sharpener! Good thing it's only $22!!! A couple months ago I was fondling my knife collection and noticed that I had no "Real" sized Tanto blades. Not wanting to excrete cash like a fire hose, I too was pleasantly surprised to discover this gem on Amazon! Great Review, Seems you liked it as much as I did! I was pleasantly surprised to see that it was made out of 440C (REAL Steel!) and not cheap wall hanger pot metal!

I would only buy this knife for one reason it's to take off the brass to put on my cold steel kobun. I normally like to watch your stuff in this video truly gave me some serious inspiration to modify my knife like I've been wanting too

Always a joy my bro! I most definitely get the catchphrase that you get what you pay for and I know in many scenarios that is the case. Sometimes though you get that whopping product and an in expensive price. And sometimes too it comes down to the person’s perspective. I have a serious crush on Tanto fixed blade knives and I could probably love that are solid enough haha.

The only thing really bugging the hell out of me is that you can see the end of the paracord bulging under the wrap by the handguard. Other than that, looks like decent Master Tanto budget alternative.

There's no such thing (or rarely so) as a "junk" knife. Knives have been around since antiquity and even the cheapest China-made steel offering is better than most of what you would find in a museum today. If it cuts, it's a good knife.

I liked your review and I liked your enthusiasm doing it. I also liked a lot the knife. For less than 30$ I think is difficult to find something better. Now I am only curious about how the blade is fixed to the handle.. if it goes full inside up to the bottom or if it stops just an inch inside.

Thanks my friend! I actually ordered two of these nerves because I intend to throw one and beat it to death haha. It is a continuous piece of steel all the way to the bottom. It’s not meant for throwing if you want to keep the handle looking pretty because the handle is actually kind of week. The handle is wooden underneath the paracord but it is full tang.

If this same knife, made in the same factory and with the same materials, has the tag of any brand as the americans based in Taiwan or overseas, will cost at least twice. I bought a 50 euros spanish knife, and then in a catalogue see the same knife with no brand at 12 dollars. Your tanto looks like a solid and slim fighting knife.

Mora knives are cheap and great....and cheap. These knives tend to cut corners on 1. Sheath 2. Blade materials. 3. Made in china. But If you know how to maintain and sharpen 420 will do the job.

Big tanto-holic myself and I ❤️my Kobun & Recon. Check out the CS mini tac tanto , it’s not in the same class as the Kobun but it’s a solid small utility tanto🏆 If you want to really treat yourself check out the Extrema Ratio T4000C. I have one in black but feel the need to also get the newly released satin version🤤 Great work bro🤜🏻💥🤛🏻

I did actually eventually throw it. I was undecided at first if I would. It did not survive the throwing test my friend unfortunately. As far as other testing it’s good for basic use, would be great for defense

@@411Outdoors Well stainless is very hard and thus, brittle usually. It is why all my real knives are carbon steel as you know for their properties. Wall hangers are very dangerous to use to hard, I have seen ppl stabbed by their own garbage fake swords when they broke and flew back at them while trying to chop something. Hey bud this is a proven fact over and over not always but some times just because a knife is only 20 bucks it still many times is better than a 200 dollar knife I seen it to many times it's best not to be a knife snob because if you are your going to get shown up one day by a person with a cheap priced knife right old buddy they just don't know. Do they lol lol 😆
