Yo, just recently stopped playing. Felt too exausted and unable to keep up. Op unit after op unit, and i found myself not having any more resources for the first time in years. The summer event was the nail in the coffin for me. I felt smilegate tone deaf, and not listening to players. Imho e7 it's in his sunset phase, this year they showed the focus to cater more to whales. I suppose they are allocating more resources to new ip, and will squeeze this one as much as they can before eos. Also super sad to see many beloved content creators leave the game, i guess e7 job security it's too big of a gamba

Yeah I understand the frustration. It isn't just the content creators. I see it in my analytics: There are just less viewers overall. Less people are choosing to play Epic Seven and moving elsewhere. The trends we talked about in my account review & this video project the game is definitely trending downwards. CCs like Tristen & I have been desperately begging for change... Will we get it though? I dunno. I hope so. As the months go on though, I hope people aren't too surprised if they see other content for other games appear here alongside E7. It's hard for me to full send when the company who makes the game doesn't do the same.

@@im_Tsu I hope they change the rates on moonlights, is very hard for me get one, and the packs in the store are extremely expensive, im nowadays expending on Honkai star Rail and Watering waves. better rates and doesn't have molagora problems.

This game could have a super long lifespan and competitive presence if they just balanced the damn heroes properly. They're still stuck on year 1 Koreans crying about nerfs and demanding moonlight selector tickets.

The ban protection was big. I can safely pick the biggest counter pick against the opponent's strategy without worrying being post ban. However, it also opens the gates of units that are absolutely oppressive like Nahkwol.

Probably a super hot take but I personally enjoyed this previous season more than the two that preceded it, not sure how I feel about ban protection yet, initial knee jerk reaction was that I didn't like but the more games I slam I kinda do see the merits.

Great video! I do like these infographics though I wish they would show the sample sizes and see how badly that skews the results. If relatively less people have ML Politis built since she is very new, has been in less matches than others, and she won a lot of the matches she has been in then it will make the results misleading. And it’d be stupid to compare the win rate of say, 100,000 savior Adins that every player has compared to like 1,000 ML Politis (not real numbers but you get the idea).

I didn't even touch world arena even though the skin was on the line, I felt really frustrated with all ML politis and Atywin and Jenua running around, as if Nakwhol wasn't enough, speed is just everything now, unless you wanna play casino 🎰

23:00 lol Jesus christ. I guess that bronze win rate right there shows just how drastically unwelcoming the game can be to new players. I wouldn't be surprised with 40% and only slightly surprised by 30%. But 6%? That just tells me that people try a dozen games, gets utterly decimated by some person who played for a year or more and just nopes out. Can't blame them. Gear grind is already unforgiving, getting gear gapped and out drafted isn't really fun. Also makes me question the matchmaking, but it's a toxic feedback loop. New players get scared off, less new players to match with, end up facing some silvers. Common issue that happens with older PvP games, the only remainders after 1-2 years are the hardcore, while the casual audience jumps on the next new game.

Hence my comment on the Previous Account Review. New Blood is what keeps a game alive. This game is not kind to New Blood. Things must change.

Is laia really Op? Well she is very fun to use and have her win condition, somehow 50% is a great number for the most used hero But the Sea phantom win rate and use rat at the end is INSANE If i would call 7 disasters: Solitis Jenua Candy DDR Laia Ayufine Nahkwol

Yea i got punished hard this season as a turn 2 slow player feels like aggro getting too strong. At least 2 of my units dead before i can do anything, and almost impossible to make a comeback from it. Really enjoyed playing ER pyllis but that got invalidated coz everything just ignores def or ER nowadays.

See, that's the plan. Early season, the supports/tanks are the OP units so everyone cries about it. By the end of the season? Cleave Only. Never changes.

Actually really excited with the turn around time for feedback. Seems still very safe, but they released updates and counters to ml politis way faster than ml Lilias or lua. Still hoping for more, but if characters are only strong for a few weeks at a time, I think we can make it through the flavor of the month as we develop more creative solutions. Looking forward to where things are headed!

"The smooth fusion of longstanding heroes and those recently introduced"... That line... ML Politis, Jenua, and Laia pretty much power crept the entire roster in response to their no nerf policy. Not sure I'd exactly call that smooth but I guess whatever floats their boat.

I’m finding it harder and harder to log in Rates are just abysmal. 0.625 for an ml5…but wait, even then, it’s still a coin flip, as in their infinite wisdom, there’s an rgb with same odds. Galaxy…lmao, ml5s are a myth. None from 12 tickets a few years ago, current banner, 120 summons, 5 off-banner arts, rta is just for giga whales or people who have no life and can farm all day. Guild Wars, idk, they’re an exercise in staying awake, I don’t even bother with them. Just enter, yield, done Edit: Should add you see those Karina and Rocket Punches destroying you? Yeah, you will never have them Can definitely see myself quitting for good next few weeks. Thankfully have never given them money, so no monetary loss

I've really been debating leaving as well, I need some more good reasons to go because I still have a sunk-cost mindset with all of the limiteds releasing back to back (another reason I want to leave)

Am I surprised? No. Since SG won't nerf then this is the result. Some heroes staying relevant for years and others outright just break the game. Making 1:1 counters hasn't been successful. Example: Ice Coli .... Yeah she was to counter Hwayoung. She didn't do anything to stop Hwayoung All the other heroes who gain extinction just to try and stop Arby. Yeah a few did see play but Arby was still running about The biggest example was Green Lilibet. S3 with extinction with a 20% increased accuracy.... Hmmm Moonlight Dreamblade on Arby

People are asking for more prebans as a result of their decision not to nerf. Just nerf the damn units already, holy shit. Like it's so much worse than Hwayoung or any of the 7 disasters nowadays.
