Jumping in to troubleshoot. It appears that the parking brake is still engaged on our BISSELL® ICONPET™ TURBO EDGE Cordless Stick Vacuum, which explains the difficulty with pushing the unit and with the suction. When the parking brake is on, the brush roll will still turn. It can be tough to push the stick vacuum which means the parking brake is doing its job. This quick video shows how to use the parking brake: kzbin.info/www/bejne/p3jPgq2jnJx9nM0 Note, this unit also has options to adjust and optimize the suction power by surface type (hard floors and rugs). Please let us know if you have any questions, we’re happy to help!

Dyson is overpriced and not worth it. I had a Dyson which lasted 2 years then it crapped out. Will never buy another Dyson anything. The Shark wins in my books.

SEBO plug in vacuums are better than both Dyson and Shark in my opinion and will OUTCLEAN these cordless machines!! What people don’t realize is that carpets are not vacuumed properly with cordless vacuums, only a plug in vacuum will deep clean!

Totally agree! And the Stratos series is the best!! They should've used the Stratos Cordless model, and it would've way surpassed an expensive, overrated Dyson

Why didn't you try to compare the Statos Duo-Clean from Shark? it's more powerful and cheaper than the Dyson with great features? Dyson $850 vs others compaired under $300 makes no sense. Do you compare cars at that large of a price difference? I think not.

To me they all work fine for the first couple of uses but it's really about the suction when it's a year after weekly use...

Why do I feel like this is low key sponsored by Dyson?

I agree the Dyson is best right out of the box. But, BUT, we had one that died 2 years in and basically had to throw it away. Way too expensive for that short of a life span. I want my vacuum to last years and be repairable when needed.

I tried again to watch Lisa, and Amanda as I love them trying out products and rating them too. They are amazing, and I enjoy these type of shows, but again the camera person is all over making me motion sick. I get the trying of the vacuums you show what the vacuum is doing etc.,but it's too much movement, and the camera zooming in and out when they are talking, it's nauseating. I knew right away that they would pick the Dyson. I am not a Dyson person as their products are way too expensive and way overpriced marketing. Especially like I have said before, Marketplace had a show all about Dyson, and the deceptive company this is, way over pricrd, and they don't stand by their products. But, Lisa and Amanda seem to be at least fair, I hope as Lisa worked on TSC, and worked with Dyson all the time, so I hope their was no favoritism with this overpriced Company. Lisa and Amanda are the the greatest. 🥰

Sorry I need people who aren't biased. Dyson is expensive, which means they can spend more on propaganda. :( That's the hard the part about listening to reviews on youtube.

Plug in mains vacuums still clean much better than cordless vacuums on carpets!

I cringed at the price of the Dyson but I have to say I absolutely love it. I bought the V10 Animal and it is worth every penny. 👍

i returned my dyson....fully charged only works 8 minutes. is that the same for you? I have 3 dogs and 8 minutes of just cleaning the fan blades and before i was done..it died. I had left it charging overnight. I don't mind the price I want it to work for at least an hour for that price.

the Bissell icon edge stick in Australia must be totally different than in the U.S. I've just purchased mine and it is amazingly good. nothing like this demo. would give mine 4/5. paid $400aud so great value. the accessories are really simple and useful, makes doing the car easy. you can't compare a $1400 product to a $400 product but have to say my Bissell does everything and more than I need.

I never understand why it you have big messes in a pile like that youd just take the head off and suck it through the kneck 😂 it's really not that inconvenient especially when you still had to make a second pass anyway

The reason I bought the Shark initially was for the high ratings and the colour. I can take it apart easily and it stores well but if I leave it out it looks nice I wouldn’t want to look at a bright purple and orange hoover. The shark IZ300Uk performs brilliantly, sucks out dirt I had no idea was there, breaks down easily, my only negative would be the battery runs down quite quickly but with that performance I still love it

Seems to be showing a style but not what I have seen trending. I only see one variation here with the canister upright. I would not take this review seriously.

I love my Dyson stick, but the thing I love most is the floor tool, which is a separate tool that one used to be able to buy for the older model Dyson sticks and canister vacuums. The floor tool is incredible--it goes completely flat (think under beds, etc.) and completely sideways. But they're so, so expensive!!!

I'm not so surprised that the Dyson did well. I definitely expected better of the Bissell, though. What I want to know is how the run times are for the vacuums. Do they all have similar length on a full charge?

HI, I bought a vacuum cleaner online and I was disappointed; it didn't pick up dirt well. I relied on ads and presentations like yours. Please conduct more realistic tests. Any vacuum cleaner can handle scattered flakes and chips. Do more hardest tests on carpets with crushed and ingrained dirt etc. Thx

The problem with many of these is the owners of them, some very very lazy people these days that are even too lazy to clean them out thoroughly and regularly

Don’t be so arrogant. Have you considered that some people have health problems that cause them great pain..? I have diagnosed vertebrae deterioration which causes me a lot of back pain with everyday tasks. Vacuuming is the hardest of household these tasks for me and I can’t even vacuum my lounge carpet all in one go. I have to take prescription painkillers before I start, vacuum half the room and then leave it for hours until I’m able to take more painkillers and do the rest of the room. Once upon a time I had no health problems and would vacuum my entire house in one go, but those days are gone. If have no serious health problems that cause you pain then think yourself lucky rather than criticizing those who are struggling with not just vacuuming but simple tasks. Don’t take your health for granted and be so quick to judge others as “lazy” when could easily be you in the future!
