I just got my hands on all 3 models of the Sanlida arrows. I cut down and glued up the Dragon 10. On the very first shot, 2 of the nocks exploded on release. I’ll be posting a video on it in a couple days. I’ll also provide them with some feedback. They exploded before they even left the bow, they desperately need to use higher quality nocks. I’m going to buy some today and then do a retest.

I was hesitant and even sent Sanlida a message about the pin nock adapter being able to get pulled out so I can use my choice (Bohning) nocks. This answers my questions!

I’m shooting the 10s with my compound and the 8s with my recurve. I love these shafts and the new nocks have been great. I actually love the vanes on the 8s for recurves. I shootings with a flipper rest but they even shot well off the shelf.

Let’s start the talk to have them make a 5mm arrow! If they can make one with their price and quality combo it would be killer!

Mine are getting here tomorrow! (8's)) Probably gonna be the older components, but I had already planned on refletch to left helical Blazers, 50g brass inserts, an change knock anyway, so kinda hope they are the old style or I'll be bored 🤣🤣. Also glad they are targeting Hunters more now, target guys are SUPER particular and snobbish about arrows, and probably wouldn't buy these as much anyway.

I changed the nocks and put wraps on the dragon 10s. They fly great 👍🏽

Is there a way to specify this new arrow when ordering from Amazon? I shoot luminox so I don’t want the bullet nock insert things.

Quick question bro, does the Trophy Ridge Propel Limb Driven arrow rest fit on a X9 bow?

I preferred the pin nocks. Mines are all dented to hell from stacking arrows at 30-40 yards. When a nock does break its cheap and easy to replace. Better than replacing an arrow anyways. Not to mention these arrows are too light for hunting anyways. Gonna need to add weight tubes, brass inserts or heavy grain broadheads to make it suitable for hunting. Think they're just good target arrows
@hunterbragg25664 ай бұрын
Idk what arrow weight u like or what not but if it’s working for u keep using it. I’ve used arrows that are 327grains all the way to 500 grains and they both do the job. Sharp Broadheads and accuracy is 90% to me so weigh doesn’t matter to me as much and I haven’t seen no issues with light or heavy arrows. Bows these days make crazy ke so in my opinion weight don’t matter cause a 340grain arrow going 340fps has 87lbs of ke which biggest game only needs 67lbs but a 430 grain arrow at 290fps only has 80 lbs of ke which is still plenty and on whitetail deer all u need is 25-41lbs of ke . I try to maximize my bows performance in speed so the animal has less time to react making my shot closer to my target. Like I said this is the way I do things and light or heavy has worked for me I’m just going lighter now to get speed.

You really want a lighter arrow that tunes well and a heavy broadhead to get more front of center weight and better terminal performance.
@JamesBond-oc4gm3 ай бұрын
Too light for hunting? You realize they have different weights just like any other arrow? You just made yourself sound ignorant
@PhotoBob28 күн бұрын
Light is what hunters want. It allows you to build whatever FOC you prefer.
