Kydex holsters don't need vacuum but just hot-temp, an object, and some pressure. It's like a taco, or 2 pieces sandwich, plastic-like object.

Any tips? Im passionate about 3D character art but I'm hesitating on whether or not i should take learning it seriously. Because everywhere i keep hearing that 3D Artists are being laid off by game and movie companies. Plus i heard Al is the future too, it won't replace the authenticity of an artist but it sure will be convenient enough for companies to cut costs. Meaning 3D artists will still be around and relevant, just less. As they can't be completely replaced.

if your main motivation is money and job security then don't do it. If you can't imagine living the rest of your live without being an artist then be an artist and accept the struggle.

When you say you wouldn't be using Substance Painter for VFX characters, what would the normal go-to be..? Procedural materials?

Master J, a serious question: what level does a 3D worker/artist need to reach to work from abroad in a country like the USA? Considering that I'm from Latin America, and job opportunities here are almost non-existent.

The work would have to compete with everyone else. Best portfolio wins isn’t exactly how it is but almost
