lol I saw Budget-Builds on a discord server talking about how certain brands are actually pretty decent if u look closely, and the reason they are suspiciously low price is cuz all the other ones are, cuz ahah grey powersupply. But yeah, definitely wouldn't use those on my main rig, only on random PCs I get from the thrift stores. Gotta look very closely tho, one wrong call and ur house might be gone lol

You’d be correct! That is a photo of Bowie, I have several posters of his around my room and my setup. What you see there is actually a reflection of a Bowie lunchbox that I have next to the case, I honestly didn’t even notice you could see the reflection until you pointed it out haha. Been building and upgrading pc's since 1997 so yes...i'm old 😂🤣. Recently finished my current build which is housed in a Corsair carbide 780 case, has an nzxt 1000w modular psu, an old/boxed and new MSI Z87 Xpower mb, intel 4670k cpu with 16gb hyper X ddr3, 240gb ssd, 1tb wd velociraptor hdd, gpu was a gtx 1060 6gb but sold to a mate and replaced until i get my next card ( not sure what yet!) with a radeon R9 280x 3gb which is ok for stop gap. Front panel houses an Aerocool V12XT touch screen control. Keep up the great posts 😉😊

Enjoy the rig, mate! That entry warmed my heart. The RX 480 is very good match for the FX-6300. I don't think you'll run into any CPU bottlenecks at all, especially if you overclock the CPU. I have a friend who has been rocking an FX-6300 for nearly seven years now. Last year I bought him a RX 580 (basically just an updated 480) for his birthday, and he's really enjoying it. EDIT: Meant overclock the CPU, not the graphics card.

Cable management is mainly for aesthetics does not really impact air flow but can attract dust that's where I get a case where you can shove all the cables in the back and squeeze the side panel on

So i was watching the movie Pan the other day. There's a character in that movie named "Smee" played by Adeel Akhtar, a semi-famous British actor that has done some minor voice-over work, but was in other movies and won a Bafta award for, i believe The Big Sick or something. Anyway, after hearing him speak for a while, i just KNEW i'd heard that voice before in some video game. but after a while of googling his name and finding nothing, and searching through different video game credits for witcher, dragon age, divinity, etc... i realized it's not someone he's played before.... it's not even his voice i recognize, it's YOU!!!! I've been watching your channel for a while now, and if anyone looks up Adeel Akhtar or Smee in "Pan" on youtube, you'll see exactly what i mean. he sounds JUST LIKE randomgaminginhd. incredible. love it. anyway, keep it up!!!

My girlfriend recently joined the Ryzen gang (3700X), loves the performance but thought the wraith prism cooler was way too noisy. I showed her how to undervolt the CPU and chang the fan curve... which helped a lot, but she was super close to returning the CPU and B450 Mobo because the noise was an absolute dealbreaker for her. Also explaining that a 9700K/Z390 would cost substantially more, require an aftermarket cooler, and likely wouldn't be any quieter helped with that too.

Hi, hope you doing good love your videos fun and entertaining :) aswell as I learned alot :) I recently built a pc and so i run out of money at the end i managed to get my hands on a evga gtx 760 2gb oc edition as for a temporary gpu till i can get a better one. It does a good job but i noticed under load it hits 80c° or even 81c° i guess thats way to high do you have any idea what could be the issue? :) Thanks in advance :)

The HP 8300 Elite supports the i7-3770 as well as i7-2600 (which is also compatible with the sandy bridge 8200 elite). A 1050 Ti doesn't quite need that much CPU power just yet but perhaps that might come in handy for futureproofing when low profile cards giving 1070 like performance are a thing. However, do note transplanting the thing into a full height case is almost impossible because the SFF version is BTX (reverse ATX) standard and doesn't fit in any ATX family of cases. It does work in the microtower version of that computer but the case design of that is horrible that you can fit no more than a 1660 (or by a stretch, a small RTX 2060) inside because it has almost zero clearance behind the PCIe slot, while the by far popular SFF variant that is featured here is very well designed with proper use of every inch of space inside and has a plentitude of slots and 2 3.5" trays, as well as a total toolless design

Question for you: Is CEX online returns any good? My 660 turned up with a dead fan (I reckon the bios was meddled with and that was a symptom of such. The actual fan would ramp to 100% when the card crashed due to the thermals. Always died to a halt when th system restarted. Weird because on afterburner I pushed it up to 70% fan speed and nothing happened) Edit: They replied very professionally and got the card refunded within a week even with their skeleton crew during the pandemic. Just ordered (hopefully working) a gtx 680 this time around. Fingers are crossed

Right. The SFF 8300 depends on what the service manual calls for in terms of i7... just because it's the same socket doesn't mean that the bios/firmware will play nice or even see it

Before i upgraded recently i ran a i7 960 @3.9 12 gigs of triple channel 1600mhz memory clocked @1625 or something. Together with an r9 390. Swallows any 1080p thing i throw at it but sadly for 4k the r9 390 was starting to struggle quite a bit. Got a 980ti used and upgraded to a 3700x for rendering and steaming in 4k. Gonna maybe upgrade the 980ti once new gen cards come out since you need to turn down the settings to do 4k

do some "intelligent" pc rigs reviews; such as the like of external gpus-- as shown in the laptop rig. or multi-threaded but quite old-- although sturdy cpus that can perform quite well in the essence of budget and gaming(efficient rendering in general). i am sure that there are many people who are willing to display their personal marvels of their creativity. now if none are there of this kind, do some reviews of items yourself; items found online, items that are probably forgotten or something.
