Ohh, I'd love a video of you comparing different mousses for refresh! Like the Cantu one, NYM and the one from Shea moisture or something like that :) loved your results with the NYM one, but it's unfortunately not available in Europe, so would be intrigued to see "dupes"

This is a great suggestion, thank you!! And that’s unfortunate about it not being available there.. I’m sure there are lots of great alternatives though!

I’ve been watching a lot of your old videos with short hair because I’m going short next week! So excited! My hair has gotten to the length where all I want to do is heat style or wear it up, so I’m ready to switch it up!

My newest favorite shampoo that is nice and cleansing without being too stripping is the Giovanni triple treat shampoo! I got a big bottle at TJ maxx and it was a great price! I had been using the Jessicurl gentle lather shampoo which I also really like, but it was just much more expensive!

Thanks for the recommendations! I haven’t tried any thing from either brand but I’d love to! 💕

You should try the brand innersense! My hair stylist got me hooked on them and I don’t think I’ll ever use anything else. I have been using their shampoo and conditioner for months and seen a ton of improvement in my hair. Have also tried their strong-hold gel lately and I love that too:)

I really like the Briogeo Shampoo, my hair and scalp definetly feel clean afterwards and it also lathers up really nicely.

Awww that’s so disappointing about the Briogeo product. I had such high hopes. That Cantu foam is my go-to when I’m out of town, ran out of refresh foam and need a quick fix. It’s super easy to find at either a Walmart/Target or Sally Beauty. Neutrogena also has a great Anti-residue shampoo that’s easy to find at grocery stores and really great at tackling hard water. Have you ever tried the brand Flora and Curl? They’ve got some great botanical products, including a Volumizing foam! Super moisturizing. Been playin around with some of their products for a few weeks and really like em so far! I think they have them at Ulta, and online. They’re originally a UK company.

I know I had better expectations! I haven’t tried anything from them, no.. haven’t heard of them, so I’ll have to write that down! ☺️❤️

Appreciate your reviews of products. Would also like to try the Ion Hard Water Shampoo. Our water is extremely hard.

I use the Camille Rose Ginger Cleansing rinse and it smells exactly like fresh ginger, so I wonder if you got an expired or bad batch. I agree, it’s really a great gentle shampoo.

You might prefer the original hairdressers oil shampoo, it is very clarifying without being absolutely stripping. One of my all time fav shampoos.

Hiii, loved the videos, I really enjoy product reviews, it’s so helpful, specially when you talk about moisture/protein and hair thickness, cause I got fine/medium hair and it can be weighed down easily. I also have a question! Should I deep condition after clarifying with a sulfate-free shampoo? I wanna try the Briogeo one, but idk if i should use a deep conditioner after. Thank you!!!
@tabithagingerich3 жыл бұрын
Thank you!! 🤍 glad you enjoy them.. I don’t think it’s entirely necessary, esp if you have fine hair, but the briogeo mask isn’t too heavy so you might still like it for that!

I'm with you on the Briogeo shampoo. While I enjoy the product, it's not worth the money and I probably won't buy it again. I have a scalp brush and it's a game changer. The Cake Beauty scalp scrub is my current fave. It smells like lemon cookies.

What's the difference between a foam and a mousse?
@tabithagingerich3 жыл бұрын
Foam is basically just a much lighter version of a mousse! 😊 The content is mostly water honestly..

Thanks for the reviews. I bought some hyaluronic acid serum that I mix into my products if I feel like a need a moisture boost. I am glad you reviewed the Bumble & bumble, I think I will be skipping them.

Hello Tabitha and wavy hair friends, I have a question: I started my wavy hair journey in January and had for the last month nice 2b to 2c waves. In the last weeks it stretched out more and more. Now I find myself with almost straight and strange and greasy hair. Which is kind of sad. Any thoughts or recommendations? Maybe anybody of your ever felt the same? Thanks and greetings from Germany 🤗
@mariefaulkner19403 жыл бұрын
Hi! Yes. I tried the curly girl method and gave up sulfates and silicones. My hair wasn’t happy or my scalp. I had lots of fall out, tangles, my scalp would be flaky which it’s more oily. Once I went back to sulfates and minimal silicones, it’s so much more happier :) I hope this helps!
@indiigobluee3 жыл бұрын
maybe it’s the weather! hair reacts to changes in humidity, so perhaps that’s why. it could be hard water maybe, i’m not really sure but it wouldn’t hurt to check hard water levels in your general area (and if it’s really hard, you can get a shower filter on amazon, i assume they do ship to germany). my best guess is products, perhaps the products you’re using products that your hair doesn’t like, perhaps it’s a moisture overload, which can happen especially to low porosity hair, or maybe you’re not clarifying properly and it’s buildup! i’m not a hair expert at all, but i’m a wavie and those are my best guesses. it happened to me once and turns out i had moisture overload. best of luck to you!!!
@mariefaulkner19403 жыл бұрын
@@indiigobluee oh good suggestion!! when I do silicone free I get moisture overload so easily. However I can’t use a lot of protein products. Just a little balance! It might also be the fact that sometimes the scalp needs the sulfates more instead of sulfate free.
@mellixxx25883 жыл бұрын
@@indiigobluee Thank you so much ☺️ How do you react to moisture overload? Thanks again 😀
