Universal Florida is just unrivalled in both quality attractions and immersion. I’ve been to Disney world and it was very disappointing even with my favorite themes being Disney’s. Universal is like a mix of Disney and Busch gardens. Quality coasters with quality theming. This concept fills me with a lot of hope and optimism

here's what I need to see at the opening of the Classic Monsters land: 1) Ricou Browning is the Guest of Honor for the Grand Opening; he played the Gill-Man in all three Creature from the Black Lagoon movies (the swimming sequences, anyway); he's also the last living actor to have played one of the Classic Monsters 2) a larger than life statue dedicated to Lon Chaney, Jr.; not as any character, but the man himself. He was in 10 UCM movies, more than any other actor -- five as Larry Talbot, the Wolf Man; once as Frankenstein's Monster; three times as Kharis, the Mummy; and once as Count Dracula (technically his son, but the title was passed down). He's the only actor to have played all of the "Big Four" monsters 3) a smaller statue dedicated to Dwight Frye, to serve as a tribute to the various character actors who played supporting roles across multiple movies; he's most famous as Renfield in "Dracula" and Fritz in "Frankenstein", but he also had an uncredited role as a reporter in "The Invisible Man", and bit parts in four of the Frankenstein sequels (two of which were just uncredited villagers) 4) Franchises and characters that need to be represented: Dracula -- Count Dracula (both Bela Lugosi and John Carradine), Professor van Helsing; Frankenstein -- The Monster (both Boris Karloff and Glenn Strange), Henry Frankenstein, Ygor; The Mummy -- Kharis, Andoheb (Egyptian mystic turned High Priest of Karnak/Arkam and Kharis' handler), Stephen Banning & Babe Jenson (twice defeated Kharis & Andoheb); The Invisible Man -- Geoffrey Radcliffe (I know that Jack Griffin/Claude Rains was the original, but Vincent Price just has a much more recognizable voice); The Wolfman --Larry Talbot, Maleva the gypsy woman; The Creature from the Black Lagoon -- the Gill-Man, Captain Lucas. 5) even though he was overshadowed by Talbot, some recognition should go to Dr. Wilfred Glendon from "Werewolf of London" 6) If the Phantom of the Opera makes an appearance, it should alternate between Lon Chaney, Sr.'s silent black & white version and Claude Rains' talking technicolor version (which was the only UCM film to win any Academy Awards)

Cause there are two areas in the image that are undeveloped and could potentially be home to more sections of the park either when it opens, or later on.

The Duelling roller coaster, with a it’s Orange and Blue colours, is reminding me of Monsters vs Aliens ( works as well with it being next to DreamWorks/How to Train my Dragon area. Another thing that would be cool is (Ya know that tron ride in Disneyland Japan? where every 20 people get their own light bike?) I'm thinking what if there a roller coaster similar to the tron ride where everygets their own dragon to ride on instead the old boring coster cart? Sure it may not seat to many people but it'd be totally worth the wait on the line. Maybe even more than one ride like that. People would go really high and the flying theme from the movie would play. It'd be so cool, it's like a dream!

Great video!! Definitely agree on all the points brought up. The dueling space themed coasters that aren’t in a world are odd. Makes me think of Battlestar Galactica: Human vs. Cylon from USS, but that feels so very out of place in a park like this. The enormous Dragon land is odd, but I’m hoping it’s just perspective making it feel so big. That’s not an IP strong enough to carry a quarter of a park ( or a sixth if you count the expansion pads). Still, I’m excited!

True that Dueling coaster is a little bit reminscent of BSG at USS. Though thematically it seems to be in a mini "Space" area within the hub, being right near the building with the planet on top that remind me of "Space Fantasy the Ride" at USJ. That was a rumour for a while, but Universal decided to pull out not wanting to many IPs they don't own within the park. Currently 1/2 of the lands are owned by Universal and the other half aren't, I don't think they wanted to pay royalties for more than half of the characters featured within the park! - Luke

Michael Bivins I heard recent rumors of Pokemon being placed instead in IOA. There is talk about a "gym" that is going to be Pokemon. However, I still felt Universal is most likely going to bring Pokemon to Epic Universe, a long with The Legend of Zelda that has also been rumored quite a bit. I would like seeing Zelda too. Zelda's land would be beautiful. It would match the other worldly vibe that Universal is aiming for Epic Universe to have. As well as, Pokemon combined with Super Mario would be like a punch to Disney's face and will give Disney a run for their money big time. I feel Epic Universe really has the potential to be a beast against Disney and I am all for it too. I am rooting for Universal.

Fantastic Beasts series hasn't been a big success (3rd movie is being pushed back indefinitely, WB gave it's Dec 2020 release date to Denis Villeneuve's Dune). Universal Monsters haven't been relevant for decades, the new Dark Universe plans were scrapped after The Mummy bombed. Nintendo even though well known is not as popular as it used to be back in the 90s/00s.

@@dumbpup The Switch is not even in their top 5 best selling devices... and at barely 37 million units sold it's nowhere near the 154 million units sold by the DS which was released over 15 years ago... even the Wii sold almost 3 times as much as the Switch.
