I think Trisha was looking for a fight here and was intentionally trying to provoke Gabbie into a yelling match. She seemed to be getting upset that Gabbie wasn't giving her the same energy back and kept a level tone the whole time. She wasn't reactive like Trisha wanted. I remember watching this in the moment and Trisha definitely came off as a mean girl who didn't want to associate with Gabbie, which is completely fine. The problem here is that Gabbie was under the impression they were friends because of how Trish interacted with her both privately and publicly, then as Gabbie tried explaining why she had that impression Trisha just kept talking over and gaslighting her. "If that's what you want to believe" 🙄 girl, you're talking to the queen of receipts. Gabbie is a lot of things that I can't stand, but in this instance I really felt for her. It's hard to have a productive conversation with someone who isn't even letting you complete a full sentence. @jasmyneeee2 ай бұрын
i think that was the point though. trisha came out and spoke abt her OWN history with STDs. what gabbie did was run to her audience on instagram and poll them on whether she was right in speaking to jason abt a rumor she had / discouraging him from sleeping with trish based on said rumor. and i think trisha had valid reasons to be upset abt that. bc it’s one thing to talk to your friend and express concern, but it’s another thing to do that and THEN go to instagram and proactively ask your audience if you’re in the right. gabbie didn’t NEED to make that interaction public, but she did bc she wanted her audience’s validation that she was a ‘kind, caring’ person & friend.

I might share something about my life to someone, I might admire something about someone’s online presence or activities, but that may not mean I call them a friend in any way. Many friendships end up not working out for me because the other person thinks we’re way closer than we really are, just because they get many of their emotional needs met by me, but I’m not feeling the same way back. So I actually relate to Trisha. Yeah she’s being stubborn, but she also shouldn’t have had her STI status disclosed. That’s so fucked up. I never even seen that video of them before but that had to of been the most calm arguing I’ve ever seen lol. That’s what happens when you out two crazy delusional people in the same room.

"agree to disagree" is not gaslighting. She said "I respect you but I don't remember it that way." Not gaslighting.

27:29 what’s wild is Trisha 💯 gaslighting 😮
@laureny56052 ай бұрын
Trisha def comes out worse in this video, but when considering the context of the whole thing, it’s one of Gabbie’s more useless arguments. “We were friends at one point,” sure, maybe they were friendly acquaintances, or even friends, but clearly not that close, and once the herpes thing happened (which is so stigmatizing and wrong, and also potentially damaging to Trisha’s career as a sex worker), it’s kind of like, who cares? She obviously doesn’t like you now! And I think Gabbie wants to try and convince people that they actually like her and she behaves in a way that is justifiable, when the reality is, neither of them do. I think Trisha is more willing to admit that? But I think getting defensive is silly. Maybe Trisha’s current feelings toward Gabbie made them feel like, “I never liked her!” even if they technically did, but she could have easily said, “Yeah, we were friends/friendly, but then you told my then-boyfriend I have herpes when I don’t and I don’t fuck with that or you anymore.” That to me is a completely valid response.

Why am I not surprised that Shane Dawson got involved?

The way Trisha talks to people is just so beyond disrespectful. Especially when she’s in the wrong 😂🤦🏻♀️

7:15 - He doesn't mean stubborn, probably sociopathic or destructive narcissistic. If you are deliberately not giving people credit for something, in a debate, it shows that you are insecure & using manipulative methods to try to devalue someone else. Someone who is confident wouldn't need to do this & could actually stop & say "Good point, however...". If you deliberately do this; it's a red flag that you are dealing with a manipulative (& quite likely narcissistic person). Stubborn isn't REALLY a word.

To say "I'm not gonna disrespect you in your house.." that's not respect. You're saying "I'm only respecting you cuz I'm in your house." That's not... that's ew.

The fact that she had so much more to say after the Jessie video and stopped her series because of the backlash (rightly given) kinda makes me sad. I wanted to know what else she had to drop on people who actually deserved it.

we gotta bear in mind they were both using drugs around this time and it's probably hindering their emotional regulation and ability to resolve things

THE WAY THERE WERE OTHER PEOPLE IN THE ROOM?? the fact that this happened after trisha’s “why i don’t trust gabbie” video… why would they even agree to do this podcast

I still feel so bad for Jessie Smiles and Rachel Oates going through Gabbie’s harassment. Also, just because Trisha and Gabbie messaged or even maybe vented to each other, it doesn’t mean they’re friends and if they were you’d think Gabbie would’ve been kinder rather than spreading libel. I’ve met people like Gabbie who will change the context of text messages just to push drama and be petty, spread gossip/make it everybody business. Even if Trisha is lying, I feel it’s justified because of Gabbie’s approach to the situation being like, “look at these texts, I *can’t* be a liar.” It’s diabolical.

Omg you should cover the time Trisha beat Moses then accidently admitted to it on Frenemies. Also when Jason Nash's ex talked about how he was physically abused by here too!

This never should have been filmed, let alone posted. They were clearly not at that stage to have that conversation.
