Gabbie literally said in her instagram story that she didn't know Trisha and then went on to gaslight her on the burnout podcast that that's when their friendship ended - so their friendship ended before it began according to Gabbie. Gabbie confuses chatting nicely with someone over text with a real friendship when it's convenient to her, and then "forgets" that friendship when she needs to downplay her own shitty behaviour.

One in four adults has herpes. As someone that actually has herpes I hate this situation so much. The worst part about having it is the stigma. The acne on my face affects me more. I've also had people tell others I have herpes to try and get them not to date me, like Adam said, as if I hadn't already told my partner. Shout out to all the other people with herpes

THIS! Herpes is so stigmatized that it’s not even funny! As someone with HSV2 it’s really not the end of the world, it sucks and obviously me and anyone else with herpes wish’s they didn’t have it but 🤷🏼‍♀️. As long as you are safe your chances of getting it are so slim. And people can be so mean and hurtful about it and make people who have herpes feel even worse.

One thing about Trisha that rubs me the wrong way is the fact that she somehow forgets about her involvement in situations. Her podcast does a decent job of reminding her and showing her of the things she partook in, but of course she claims no involvement and that she doesn’t remember…which is super weird to hear on a consistent basis when it comes to “drama”

I’m a huge fan of her but it’s definitely an eye roll situation when something like that happens. It’s easier for her to blame her state of mind and drug abuse than for her to recognize the individual instances that are brought up. It just takes a simple “I was geeked out of my mind and I realize that ____ is wrong now that I am in a clear state of mind” instead of “oops I can’t be held accountable bc I was on drugs!!”

It's mind-boggling to me how Gabby could spread a false rumor about Trisha's sexual health and (given her behavior) basically imply that Trisha's the heinous sort of person who would keep that info from prospective partners, but then turn around and be *shocked* that Trisha doesn't like her. I get that she tried to hide behind "but I was protecting my friend!," but in doing that she also tossed another so-called friend under the bus. So what did she expect? She was out of line, no matter how good her intentions allegedly were.

The problem with the storyline was it came out later, I think admitted by Trisha, that Trisha had been using drugs throughout this whole thing so there were so many holes in her memory. She didn't think they talked much and Gabbie had all the receipts that Trisha just couldn't recall. She kept saying Gabbie was "gaslighting" her when in reality she just couldn't remember what actually happened. I also think it was after all of this that it came out that Shane was the one who told Gabbie about the herpes. At this point Trisha had no idea who the "close friend" was because no names had been dropped and wouldn't be for awhile yet. This was a wild time and I haven't thought about it since it originally happened. But I remember watching it in real time and it was such a mess then, their was so much going on at once

Gabbie had a history of overstating the importance of relationships- I think it's likely that they talked over the course of a couple years and were friendly at parties, but I do think they surely weren't THAT close, because if Gabbie and Trish were CLOSE friends I think Gabbie would have asked Trish if it was true before going to Jason. Gabbie always makes it seem like everyone who she has ever associated with is her friend.

Yeah, it honestly looked like Gabbie manipulated the situation to force Trisha into over explaining so Gabbie can nitpick anything even slightly wrong. I just want to say that just because Trisha was nice to Gabbie in some texts or even venting, it doesn’t mean they’re friends or that Gabbie knows anything personal about her. The only thing Gabbie did right was not doubling down on the herpes thing being a fact, but the damage comes from her justifying sharing that information and not admitting what she did was not only libel, but an invasion of privacy. I feel for Trisha’s panicked upset here, I’ve been in a similar situation.
