The "A" shaped mass doesn't join with my "roof" mass. Any suggestions?

Instead of join the wall and the roof, you simply create a shaft through the roof and then set the work plane.

The wall created by the face of imported Rhino surface doesn't seem to support this method.

In fact, it seems to work. I have to pick up the work plane on the native revit wall which cuts the surface wall. Finally I can pick the intersection curve of the surface roof in order to create a curved beam. What a confusing software!
