REVIT Jackson 2 Protective Motorcycle Jean Review

Rev’it have updated the Jackson jeans whilst retaining everything that made the original such a success. About as comfortable as you can imagine a pair of jeans to be, with classic, blacked out styling that’s just as at home on the high street as on your bike, the Rev’it Jackson 2 are in pole position to become your new all time favourite.

Nice jeans, but wish they were AAA (AA at a minimum). I own two pair of John Doe that I ordered from Urban Rider and will stay loyal to them. If I ever deviated, it'd be for Pando Moto

Agree - I keep looking for some quality single layer jeans, but so many have AA rating , seems like a miss not to go for something that has AA. I would be weary of saying that this fabric is used on other higher rated jeans, I don’t think these pair are being “undersold”, my understanding is that the rating takes other things into account, the stitching can make a difference for example.

The knee armour of a John Doe Defender (Mono) do not cover my knee that well.

@@redboll I do agree with you; yet that's the only flaw I've found. Regardless, I'd rather have 'AAA' with dodgy-aligned knee armor than 'A' with well-placed knee armor.

In my experience, molded armor tends to be more obvious when you're off the bike while standing -- especially on slim jeans -- since a straight knee tends to push out curved knee armor. In your objective opinion, does the RV-36 stick out more than the RV-30 on these pants?

So many jeans on the market to choose from nowadays. I don't like black jeans. They always fade to grey.
