Thank you very much for the explanation, what would be the procedure for a caisson pile?
@DzanTa2 жыл бұрын
You can approach the same way for each pile or see if there is a rebar extension package for your version of Revit via Autodesk Desktop App or via manage.autodesk.com

Please tell me how to change in different Pile Cap & Pile size including Same Rebar also
@DzanTa Жыл бұрын
After adding your pile cap family, just create the custom rebars with the rebar command. You can create multiple types via the Edit Type and Duplicate icons.

Hi, Can you tell me how is possible to make the spiral rebar cahnge like in your template. What i want to say is how you make the spiral be more frequent for 2m and less for the next 4m on the same spiral?
@DzanTa4 жыл бұрын
if you create the spiral reinforcing in segments (1 segment for the first 2m length) then do another segment (another segment for the next 4m length, this will give you what you want.

@@DzanTa hi, thanks four your rapid answer, awsome! But by creating separate spirals, the inventory will be difficult to read or create. Let's say you are creating a pile reinforcement foundations for a large building with 400 or 500 piles. The inventory and identity of the spirals will be difficult to read and fabricate
@DzanTa4 жыл бұрын
@@virgilpopescu8815 I see. In that case, you would have to experiment with the reinforcing command to see if it can create the different sections as a whole object. I will try to look at this again later today or tomorrow and test this functionality. I will get back to you. I am currently teaching so can't help immediately.

So I looked at the Layout Rule Property within the rebar. It only allows for certain methods and these methods affect that rebar tie you select. You cannot have an entire section of rebar with varying layout rules. I have seen where SE's will create separate rebar sections for the beginning, end and middle sections of the column or beam and then change the Layout Rule for each portion to make the rebar look the way they want. Perhaps suggesting this capability to Autodesk via Revit Ideas would help...

@@DzanTa thanks for your help. In the example that you want to reproduce, you have the same pile with the spiral the way i want to make-it. I will post an idea to autodesk maybe they will think of something. The thing is that some plug-ins are creating the spiral with various spacing. I have another question if you allow me: - how do you create anotation just like in your example? - do you have any tutorial with?

Super rendu, par contre c'est vraiment dommage de pas faire apparaître les petits schèma devant chaque annotations des barres, surtout avec ce logiciel aussi performant... Si vous avez une idée, je suis preneur

now imagine u have 15 of these round columns and u need to change all the longitudinal rebars from 4 to 6, how do u change that so fast?
@DzanTa2 жыл бұрын
If you make the vertical rebars unique (by type), then you can select all of the by selecting 1, then right click and choose Select All Instances Visible in View or in Entire Project

@@DzanTa no because u would select every rebar with that diameter (=type) in the entire project
