Make sure your space is placed inside room bounding objects. Use tag with leader too

Is there a way to add spaces to corridors, risers and lifts in Revit? Or is there a way to box these areas similar to workspaces?

Hi Nirat. Yes you can add spaces to corridors, stair risers/mechanical chases/elevator lifts. The Space command and Space Separator command will allow you to place the spaces and confine them properly. You will need to place the space first, then adjust the elevation height limits. Use the Space Separator command to confine the spaces where there are no physical model objects that have Room Bounding capabilities (i.e. corridors).

@@munawarfairoos5958 The Space object just like the Room object and Area object require that it is fully contained by "Room Bounding" elements such as walls, floors, ceilings, roofs, etc.

Which video describes the Spacing Naming Utility? I found this video very helpful in my search for scheduling duct pressure drops, and I'm worried about when the Architectural model isn't up to date, or coordinated properly. I think this means that I have to manually name each space if the linked arch model doesn't have them setup properly? (This is super common XD)

The SNU only works if the arch uses room objects properly and they are already placed in the linked arch model.
