I live on the fringe of the desert in Australia, Most of our churches are elderly and some have already closed down. The ones that are still open have lost the plot. Certainly not scriptural. I’ve experienced downcast many years ago that I nearly commit suicide. My husband was bed ridden for more than a year before he die. Watching him dying iwas the hardest part. At that time my 3 kids aged 10,12 & 14. I was working 3 job at the same time - bread winner, his nurse and mother of my young children. But God give me strength to carry on and help me to get through to that difficult times. Without Him I wouldn’t survive.

Remembering this psalm from childhood, parents read something from the Bible at each meal many times from the Psalms. As we grew older we took turns. We were a large family 12 children.

A friend of mine took her own life last month. She was praying and searching for answers. I kept trying to get together with her to search through scripture and focus on the promises of God. She said she gave her life to Jesus but didn't understand handing everything over to Jesus. I wish she was here so I could forward this to her. I am struggling with being upset at her for what she did. She didn't wait to see the glory out of the storm. Why do people do this!
