Sorry, I posted my message the first time in French. The PicoBoot is my favorite method. On the other hand, to fix the card, I print a bracket to install it near the fan. For the connection, I solder a piece of UDMA ribbon cable. On a GameCube, installing a 40 mm Noctua and, if possible, an adapter for the Digital AV out port are also very useful. I forgot, but a BlueRetro adapter is just a great gift for any old console.

That's OK! I translated it, bur didn't have time to respond earlier. I love the PicoBoot, and definitely going to give the GC some more love. I've done the blueretro mods for PS, and N64, but not yet to the GC. Also, looking at the Digital output adapter too. Really get it going! Thanks for watching, and commenting! I greatly appreciate it!

Hey man! I believe the issue with your ribbon cable is you soldered down both the VSYS-5V pin AND the 3.3v pin. You're only supposed to do one or the other, and in the case of the ribbon cable, only 3.3v because you can't really place a schottky diode in line. Hope this helps!

Aww man, I didn't realise that! I remember reading about the diode. I thought I only had the 3.3 and the GND soldered in. Thanks for that man. Also, when I removed the pico2, I stripped 2 pads off the ribbon. So that didn't help either haha. Thanks again!

@@DReviewTing ah dang, ribbon cables are pretty fragile haha and don't actually feel that bad, I took a lil time to google the ribbon cable (I typically just use color coded wires), and I noticed there isn't even a 5v trace 😅😅🤣 so not actually too sure what went wrong with the ribbon cable, maybe some trace inside it broke 🤔

@XenXenOfficial I think if I used a rp2040 first, rather than the 2350, it probably would have worked. I imagine they aren't made to be heated again, and again. Cost 4eur, and that was including a pico, so probably not thr most durable construction haha

@@DReviewTing ahhhh yeah, then with the added issue of ripping off the pads you weren't really able to test it again with a rp2040 😅 welp! I'm sure the developer is probably peeking into the issue or whatever, maybe some function or whatever isn't available anymore and causing an issue haha I'm sure he'll figure it out 👍

Graeme you beautiful man, I love seeing the GameCube love! As always, I'm impressed with your modding skills 😉
